The description doesn't say how many plates are in a set. There are 2. It comes to about 10 bucks a plate, which is fairly spendy. However, these are fantastic plates. We ordered another set so we have enough for a table setting. Perfect size, beautiful color, great plates.

This dinnerware set is really beautiful. I thought I would not like the busy patterns but they are colorful and tastefully done. Each dinner plate has a matching salad plate and bowl. The colors are vibrant and I could not find any fault in the patterns or glaze. I washed them in the dishwasher and they came out perfect, no fading, no chips etc. This morning I made oatmeal in the microwave using one of the bowls. The size is just right for one serving and the bowl did not get too hot to touch after the oatmeal was done. I had that problem with my previous dinnerware set so this point was particularly important to me. Even my husband smiled when he saw the dinnerware, it's just so pleasing to the eye and to the touch. I definitely recommend this dinnerware set. ... show more

These plates are absolutely stunning, with a rich blue glaze that looks beautiful on the table. They feel well made with a good thickness, and they perform great. Washing well in the dishwasher, heating evenly in the microwave, and holding up nicely against cutlery. I also love that they fit perfectly in my dishwasher, unlike 10.5-inch plates, which tend to be just a bit too tall. One thing I would change is the lack of care instructions. There are no markings on the back of the plates or any included in the box. The only other issue was that one plate arrived with a very small chip on the back rim. It’s minor and doesn’t affect functionality, so I’m not too bothered, but it would be great if packaging quality checks could ensure plates arrive in perfect condition. Overall, I’m really happy with these plates and would still highly recommend them! ... show more

Love these heavy duty stoneware plates. We love the color and they are quite attractive but also functional. Given this is a vine item for us, we got two and not the set. But I think we're going to go ahead and purchase the full set we like them that much. A definite do buy!

I wish I had better lighting in my house because the photo I’ve added doesn’t really show the color rate. The plates are not nearly as dark as they are in the picture of added. They are exactly like they are at the top of the page and they are beautiful. I’m so glad they came in a set of two. I may have to consider getting more because I really like them that much. They have a lovely glazed to them. I appreciate that they came with cardboard in between them to prevent them from scratching each other. Thanks to the anti-slip rings on the bottom they don’t slide around. The company Glow Worm did a really great job with these plates. I hope to see more from their line of products. ... show more

These are very attractive dinner plates and have an iridescent blue finish. They seem well made and work fine in the microwave. The underside of the plates have no markings whatsoever on them i.e. brand, where made, etc. One of the plates had a rough edge on one small side, but this did not mar the appearance and appears to be just a small imperfection in the finish. If you don't mind a couple of stand alone dinner plates (as 2 plates is what you get), these could be a nice addition to your cabinet. I might examine the price per plate versus what you can get elsewhere. ... show more
