  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great scooter for your little one...
Color: Lime Green
When we would take our son to the playground he was drawn to other children's scooters, so we decided that we should look for one for him. We wanted a scooter that would remain upright on its own and could also grow with him as he gets older. The selling points for this scooter for us was the wheel placement, minimum and maximum height of the handlebars, the ability to lock or unlock the scooter's tilting mechanism and easy detachable handle from the base. Having three wheels, two in the front and one in the back, help to keep him better balanced while riding the scooter. The adjustable height measurements will allow our little guy to use this scooter for quite a few years. There are times that we are walking along the sidewalk and being able to lock the tilting mechanism ensures that he doesn't go veering off in the wrong direction, but we can let him ride how he wants in a safer environment. Being able to quickly detach the handles from the base make it so that the scooter takes up minimal space when storing it and can be kept in any position, whether horizontal for riding or vertical with only the front wheels on the ground. It took him about 5 minutes of being shown how to use it indoors (softer landings that way) for him to catch on how to ride this scooter and we were able to use the included helmet from the Bike Baby Rear Seat with Handrail and Helmet . Overall, this has been a fun scooter for our little one that we're sure he'll enjoy for years to come. EDITED 05/19/2019... We've now owned our Globber Primo 3 Wheel Scooter for close to 3 years and it still works like new using the original parts. The only issues with it to date are some cosmetic scratches to various parts of the scooter due to the now 4yo falling from time to time, which is to be expected at this age. We would still recommend this Globber for anyone in the market for a scooter that their little one can use. If you found this review "Helpful", please click the button below. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Great scooter - fun for 2.5 yr old and small 6.5 yr old
Color: Navy Blue
We received the 3 wheel scooter for our 2.5 year old for Christmas from Grandma last year and he has loved it! He zoomed around the house on it for a few months (nice smooth wheels and handles - nothing to bang up the walls and went over the carpet pretty well). Then when the weather got nicer we took it outside and he is a speed demon on it! Our 6.5 year old has been super jealous so this summer we got him the adjustable handle 3 wheel scooter and he is pretty thrilled to have his own. Mom and Dad are thrilled to not have to regulate taking turns with the smaller scooter... It is the perfect size for him on the highest handle setting, but he is petite. For an average 6.5 yr old it might be a bit short or not last more than a year. Both boys can turn just fine, no problem figuring out the lean to turn maneuver, but they are both very coordinated. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the back wheel wears down when the brake is applied. The boys like to get going fast and stomp the brake to see how long they can skid before stopping...great fun but bad for the brake! The smaller scooter that we've had for 7 months is not round anymore, more of a hexagon shape and though it still rolls, it is pretty bumpy. We will be buying a more sturdy replacement wheel. The new scooter we bought for our older son just 2 weeks ago is already starting to show flattening spots from braking. Overall a great scooter and I'd recommend! ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Good scooter but no way to replace the back wheel = doesn't make sense!!
Color: Deep Pink
I bought this scooter in 2018 for my then 5 yo and it has been relatively good. She learned how to use it without a problem. I noticed a loud noise when she rode it after a while but wasn't sure what it was until recently. Present day, my boyfriend pointed out that the loud noise that can be heard from what seems like miles away, is the back wheel. The back wheel has taken on a new shape as a result of brake usage causing the wheel to be bumpy and disfigured, hence the loud noise when she rides as of late. Recently, the brake broke off too. There is absolutely no way to order a replacement part. Amazon directs the customer to Globber and when on that website, there is no way to purchase anything in the US. They have retail stores but there's no easy way to locate them. Thus, I have resoled to buying a new scooter of a different brand but it would have been a lot cheaper to simply replace the parts. The scooter is good and otherwise has held up but not being able to order replacement parts has steered me away from this brand. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Scooter for our 4.5 year old!
Color: Deep Pink
Absolutely awesome scooter!!! We used to have a little cheap plasticky scooter that our daughter was using and unfortunately on a recent camping trip she could not keep up with her cousins who all had Razor scooters and other brands that were much better quality and much faster than our daughter's. So after we returned home we decided to do some research and ultimately picked this one. Although it is a bit more costly than some other brands, the scooter is built very very well, it seems very sturdy and most importantly our daughter mastered it in one day. We thought the scooter would be too fast for her and too difficult for her to grasp how to turn to the left or right...as it does require her to lean her body in the direction that she wants to turn...but to our surprise she did MUCH better than we thought she would on her first try. The scooter glides smoothly, turns very well with a little practice, and looks awesome. The two wheels at the front make the scooter very stable. The only 'small' negatives or perhaps more of a wish, was that the foot board was a bit more wide and a bit longer. Great great purchase that was worth every penny. ... show more
