I don't usually write reviews but this little heater deserves 5 stars. I have a large bedroom in a older home. The central heat doesn't really get to the bedroom. This heater warms my whole bedroom...amazing. I've tried different heaters and hands down this is the winner.

I get cold all yr & I luv this space heater. When I'm tired & don't wanna get out of bed to turn off the heater I luv having the remote. I also luv that it has the timer bcauz I fall asleep with it on & I don't have to wake up to turn it off. When it gets tipped over it'll turn off which is nice so that's a plus. The oscillator is so gr8 in my little bedroom it warms up with in 10 to 15 minutes depending on how cold my room is (I'm in a basement bedroom). This is the best space heater I've ever purchased by far. I've owned so many & none really did the best job. So double thumbs up THE BEST SPACE HEATER. It's totally worth the price. Just thumbs down that the buttons aren't child lock & the face does get hot when touched. I'll definitely recommend this to anyone ... show more

    • Great heater, poor thermometer design

The heater works great! I like that it blows the hot air instead of just radiating it (the swivel action is pretty sweet). Warms my room decently when I have it set to 72. With that being said, it is definitely not 72 but closer to 65. When the heater is on, the thermostat quickly rises and shuts off. As the heater cools the thermostat lowers but not as fast. Basically it thinks it is getting the room to temp, but really it's just heating itself up. My guess is the sensor is not shielded from the heating element. Im nervous about running it on high based on some of the reviews I saw where the plug melted. ... show more

My room is just above the garage in an older house, so it's not insulated well. This thing has made these extra cold mornings much easier to get out of bed and not feel like a popsicle. I love that it is much quieter than some of the older heaters I've had and the remote is a great extra feature

Light little heater definitely does its job heating a room. However, I set the thermostat to 65 downstairs to keep our guinea pigs warm while our heat is down and when i went downstair this morning, the temperature in the room was 74! Since it doesn't work in the way I hoped when I purchased it, I am returning it. I need a heater with automatic temperature control - that WILL go off once the room reaches the desired temperature (thus saving energy and money). ... show more

    • A MIGHTY LITTLE HEATER

We bought this as a replacement and love it. It is so easy to program, puts out a great flow of heat and is small and mostly quiet. We paid $100 more for our last heater which worked well but was a pain to program (German brand) and gave out in a year. The only fault this heater might have is that it can only be set to heat for a maximum of 8 hours., then it needs to be turned back on. Oh well, we would definitely recommend this unit! ... show more

So my oldest son sleeps in the basement. Because it can get pretty cold down there, we bought a space heater. They were a good deal so I got 2 of them, one for the play room. Initially, the playroom one worked fine but my son’s stopped after the return date. I would wake up around midnight to his temperature sensor going off that the room was too hot. Sure enough, even though I had set it to 68, the room was around 73. So I had to set it to 63 so it would stop at 68 (I guess I just assumed heat rises and the monitor was higher, so I had to equate that. Eventually, I got sick of going in and adjusting it every time we had a sitter who thought 63 was too low (totally understandable). I switched it out with the playroom which performed consistently. I reset it to 68 and it seemed to be doing great! Except the last couple of nights it started happening again! Last night was the last straw. Last night, he wasn’t in his room (he had come into our room) so I had turned off his monitor alerts but didn’t trek downstairs to turn off the heater. When I went into his room this morning, I felt like I walked into a wall of heat and the heater was STILL blowing. I turned on his monitor to see the temperature and it was over 84 degrees!!!! Unacceptable! I thought maybe I just had one dud, but 2 duds? I’m so upset and so thankful that he happened to wake up and sleep in our bed last night! My two pictures are the basement playroom (64 degrees) and his room (supposed to be 68 degrees) ... show more
