Easy to fit and put on using your dogs collar on inside and Velcro strap on outside. Inflate to 80%. Doubles as a comfy pillow. And my boy can eat and drink with it on. He can see and maneuver without a problem. The photo shows him sleeping with it on. The more comfort I can give him as he heals from major leg surgery is paramount. I highly recommend. ... show more

This seems like it'll get the job done to stop my Aussie from licking his one leg and causing himself an even worse lick granuloma. As other reviewers stated, it is HARD to blow up! And go with your gut instinct on which size you think is right for your fur baby. I kept going through other's reviews and debating between a large and XL, but some people said it ran small, so I ordered him the XL. It is huge on him!! I easily could have went with the large. We picked the dog up from the vet after being neutered. I took the collar with me. 7-9 # terrier. It took alot of effort to blow up. Not as easy as the airplane neck cushion. Dog was difficult about having something around his neck. But, the vet's office said the collar wasn't appropriate because he needs something that ends 2-3" beyond his nose. The small size would go around his neck, but wasn't long enough nose-wise. I tried to release the air and it hardly deflated. I even (slightly) stood on it and it didn't loose much air. I suppose that is a good thing, but if you want to deflate and store it, I wouldn't recommend it. The shelter we got him from gives gift bags to the adopters. We're going to donate this to them so they can recycle it. ... show more

So much more manageable than the cone. Washable & it’s an instant pillow. Rio has to spend 2 weeks in recovery. That’s a long time in a cone. This donut is making that time more pleasant.

German shepherd pup was neutered and we started with the cone, which was not ideal. Ordered another brand inflatable collar which he was still able to lick his stitches. We tried this one and it was perfect! He does kinda look like bozo the clown due to its size- but it definitely kept him from being able to reach where he wasn't supposed to.
