I am pleased with this bench. I expect to withstand many seasons exposed to elements. There is minimal wobble, and It feels safe and solid. Putting it together is not a major challenge, despite the skimpy instruction page (a single sheet, no words, only four pictures too small to discern significant details). Here are my suggestions for inclusion on an improved instruction page: 1) Having the help of a second person will make it easier to hold the pieces in position for fastening. 2) Don't waste time trying to use the included flimsy flat wrench. It's the wrong size. Instead, use pliers from your toolbox to hold the nuts while you twist the bolts with the included key (Allen) wrench. Twist them very tight. 3) The washers go on the tails of the bolts, between the nuts and the bench members. 4) The bolt heads all point AWAY from the center of the bench; the bolt tails point TOWARD the center. 5) The rounded side of the nuts face the bolt tails; the flatted side goes toward the bolt head. 6) The plastic bolt tail caps may stay in place by friction alone, and maybe not. A drop or two of epoxy or rubber cement (try Pliobond) will hold them longer. ... show more

Husband put it together quite quickly, and it's stable - doesn't rock at all. Great quality, especially for the price. And a very pretty bench! We also bought a bench pillow (46"W) to put on the seat area. Gorgeous! We have it on our front porch.

I got this bench for extra seating in our back yard. It is very easy to put together. Two people can do it. One has to hold it up. The only problem with this one, we had to get a different screw to put in for one area cause the one that came with it did not fit. It looks great. I got a beautiful cushion for it too. Very sturdy and pretty comfortable bench, and I’m tall. The bench looks good, was easy to assemble, and is relatively easy to move as well. Great value for the price.
