I hesitated buying this little machine. I have a Gemini but it seems I use this little machine (which isn't as little as other little machines) more then my Gemini. This little electric die cut/embossing machine is the best ever. It is fast, sturdy and easy to use. I travel with this and use it when teaching in my art club. The machine worked great until it stopped worked after 3 months from purchase. It is easily portable and just what I was looking for. The power just stopped turning the machine on. I have tried 2 times to get feedback from Crafter's Companion regarding this non- working cutting machine. So far their customer service deserves an "F." They respond with one email but nothing comes of it, and the USA phone listed will not take calls. ... show more

Bought this for my twelve year old grand-daughter and it;s very easy to use. The price on Amazon was the best I had found. Only complaint is it's quite noisy. Perhaps that's from the pressure while cutting, but it does cut through thick card stock and glitter card stock nicely (she hasn't tried any other materials yet). I myself use the Anna Griffin Empress mini, and it's much quieter but has a higher price point. Both work the same, it's just a matter of amount of noise you can stand. ... show more

Highly dissatisfied with this product. I only used it 5 times and the plates and shims are all warped to the point of no return. It's not usable without the plates. I like the fact that it's compact but not a good value purchase as you have to purchase plates constantly and they DO Noy come in a bundle package and they are quite expensive for such small plated. I do not recommend this product for purchase. Spend the extra money and buy a better made product. ... show more

It takes a bit to learn how to use (only because I have other machines) and it is a little different in how you layer the dies. But it is a little work horse right out of box. I used it for an 8 hour crop at my favorite store.
