This GEAR IT Guitar package is a real deal. It doesn't seem possible to get this quality of guitar and accessories at such a great price. When I first heard of these guitars about a year ago, I got one and was really impressed. The price was higher than it is now, even then I thought the price was super low for the quality and features of this guitar. Now I have this incredible looking, aged white with a mint pickguard that plays fantastic. I don't know how these guitars can be this good at this price. This is very playable out of the box, even the intonation is set fine. The neck feels great. It comes with a very nice gig bag, not just a dust cover. This is a GREAT starter Guitar that has absolutely everything you need to get started, including a tuner a small amplifier and even extra strings. The tuner is decent, the amp a bit small, but all in all it is great beginner or a bit more advanced than a beginner package. I hooked mine to a larger amplifier, and although I am not an expert, I found it very pleasing, great easy sound. The Guitar is a bit on the heavy side, up until you begin to scratch the string. You no longer noticing. It does produce very good sound. This guitar, if not for yourself, it would made an amazing gift for someone special!!! ... show more

I didn't realize how much I'd enjoy having more control over the tones just on board the guitar. And it works really well with my pedals too. Considering I got this just to have a cheaper electric to travel with, I'm actually blown away. Feels great, sounds great, and it comes with everything you'd need and then some. I got this because I want to start learning to play guitar. It has everything you will need to start rocking out straight out of the box it even includes a small amp and tuner. Once tuned up the sound is very nice, but the amp could be a little louder. It is also heavier than I thought it would be but still comfortable to hold on the sling. The tuner is not a very quality product so it might benefit you to invest in a better tuner for it. ... show more

It came with everything I need even extra strings in case any gets torn. Also came with a self tuner, case with pockets to put everything in it except the amplifier. Great for a beginner. All you need is to play. I can not judge on the sound quality as I am not an expert. Since I am a started, this set fits me perfectly with everything I need. The only thing for me is that it is on the heavy side to carry, but on the other hand, it is a indication of good quality ... show more
