  • It’s already paired
Style: 1 Push Button Color: White
I love this product and will definitely buy it again. I spent 30.00 at the hardware store buying a wireless doorbell and you have to be a electrician to fix it to work. So out of frustration I went to Amazon and found this doorbell that came together and already paired took it right out the box all I needed was 3 AA batteries and it works perfectly. And it’s under 14.00 bucks 😊 took me 15min to do it. ... show more

  • Plenty loud
Style: 1 Push Button Color: White
I was a little hesitant to buy this doorbell because of some of the reviews saying it was not loud enough. Well, it is plenty loud. It is just as loud or louder than any other doorbell manufactured in the last 40 years. I have no idea what the people were complaining about low volume. The only issue I am a little concerned about is how waterproof the outside pushbutton is. Mine is under a porch so i don't have any worries. Maybe a little water deflector above the switch may help. ... show more

  • Requires a drill for permanent installation by screws
Style: 1 Push Button Color: Nickel
I just installed it to replace a prior wireless doorbell that had plug in unit. It works perfectly out of the box; however, in order to install the button on the wall with a screw, you need a drill as the holes are indentations only, not with holes for screws. Since my previous button was installed with a screw, I prefer a screw installation. I just used a self piercing screw with a few turns to make a hole instead of using a drill. If the holes were pre-drilled, that would have been a 5 star review. ... show more

  • It Is Indeed Battery Operated
Style: 2 Push Buttons Color: White
I purchased this too quickly—didn't read the specs carefully—then exchanged it for a plug-in model. Obviously the battery operated unit can be placed anywhere. I prefer not having to change batteries. What you win on the swings you lose on the roundabouts.

  • Check the battery
Style: 1 Push Button Color: Nickel
As I read in previous reviews, the button battery included was DOA. Fortunately, I had a replacement on hand, so we were good to go. The volume control was not as good as our previous doorbell (different company). Otherwise, it seems to be working fine. Good value for the money.

  • Meets my needs
Style: 1 Push Button Color: White
I thought about getting a Ring device instead, but chose not to because of the expense. All I really need is something to let me know that someone is at the door - no more, no less. I chose to use the Westminster tone because my wife is losing her hearing a bit. And the volume control is handy.

  • The reasons I choose this one
Style: 2 Push Buttons Color: White
I was surprised how difficult it was to find a doorbell with two push buttons. The trend seems to be ones with multiple receivers, but only one button. I guess that’s because a lot of people don’t have front and back doors anymore. But there doesn’t seem to be much logic to someone living in a house large enough to need multiple receivers shopping for a twenty dollar doorbell. Having no luck in the retails stores I turned to Amazon and found hundreds of no name options to choose from, some of them very oddly designed and not very good looking. I don’t use music as my ringer tone on my phone and I’m not big on using The Charge of the Light Brigade when someone rings my doorbell. So the limited number of sounds this one is capable of is just fine, more importantly they sound full and loud and not tinny. Of course when you use a doorbell at your front and back door you need to have a different tone for each. This one disappoints a little in that they missed the obvious of having the traditional ding dong for the front and just a simple ding for the back. There is no option for a single ding. But they do have an okay sounding knock knock sound which is the one I use. Second to ding dong the second most popular doorbell sound in America is Westminster chimes. Not my favorite choice because it is too pretentious and I don’t want to have a 20 second song playing when someone is at my door. But nevertheless if that’s your choice you will find that this one sounds very similar to a mechanical doorbell, including the echo delay effect. The indoor unit is relatively attractive and can be painted over if you’re careful. The outdoor push buttons look like real doorbells so your guests know what they are. Of course the buttons are not illuminated because they are battery powered. I mentioned the volume earlier. Having pets a very loud doorbell is actually contrary to my needs so I can’t say if it would be loud enough for a hard of hearing person. I have mine set to the lowest volume and I can hear it throughout the house. I only wish that the manufacturers would use a simple rotary volume control dial instead of a four position push button that you have to cycle through. My choice for volume is usually somewhere in between their preset options. THINGS TO KNOW 1. Unlike any doorbell I’ve ever seen, if you want to change the ringer sound, don’t look for a button on the indoor doorbell unit. There’s none there. Instead, you have to go outdoors and pry the cover off the button unit where inside you will find a tiny button that you have to press to change the ringer tone. 2. Changing the ringer tone takes a lot of patience. You have to cycle through each and every tone until you get to the one you want. To make matters worse, each time you press the tiny programming button you have to listen to the entire medley or sound effect before it will let you move on to the next one. 3. If you want to change the volume you’re supposed to ring your own doorbell then immediately press the volume button on the indoor doorbell unit. Of course if you’re working alone that’s impossible. There is a trick that you can press the sync button on the indoor unit then immediately press the volume button. As above you have to cycle through each volume setting until you get to the one you want. 4. Similar to many once famous brand names like Kodak and Polaroid, the use of the GE name is only a licensing agreement. GE doesn’t make this doorbell and has nothing directly to do with the product. It is made and sold by Jasco with permission to use the GE logo. 5. Speaking of logos, one of my pet peeves is when companies put huge logos right on the front of their product so after you buy it you’re giving them free advertising forever. Kudos to this company, the brand logo is so subtle you can hardly see it even from right up close. 6. The indoor unit is heavier than most doorbells because it uses three C batteries. I suggest trying to attach at least one of the included fasteners into a wall stud so it doesn’t fall down. ... show more

  • It works perfectly
Style: 2 Push Buttons Color: White
This item do what it say it does. I had for over a year and didn’t replace batteries yet. I just wish both items wasn’t the same sound.( like front and back door different sound so I can know which door to go to).
