I purchased this cover for my son. I am a mom who does not know much about the Gator covers, but I can definitely get by with instructions for installation. I bought my son a GMC 2013 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab, WD truck. I went onto the Gator site and it said that this cover fit. On Amazon it says it does not. “ IT IS ACTUALLY A PERFECT FIT”. The bed size is 6”7. Install was super easy if you are good at following directions. If not look up video. The clips could be a little tricky, otherwise no screws. I had a screw driver to tighten and a wrench. It is a nice tight fit, low profile, rolls up easy, secure. If you have any slag or sagging it is adjustable to make a perfect fit. Velcro makes an easy tight fit on sides. I was very impressed and it looks awesome. I installed it by myself. My father thought a professional installed it. My son was amazed. He wanted to pay someone. I will say though, my neighbour came out for a minute to help me. The bar that the rolls back the cover was not fitting at first. I had to make a few adjustments while he held the bar, but In the end it fit perfect. I live by the beach, everything here fades etc. and it has not faded and it is a heavy duty material. My neighbour had a hard cover and he even stated that the cover was well worth what I paid. It makes the truck look great and keeps the water out. We checked after a storm and the water only got through the holes on bed rails which are stake pockets. I am buying covers now for them and it should solve the issue . Minimal water came in on edges. You really can do without, but it looks nice with them and complete. One thing I am a little confused with is that I did purchase this cover thinking it would be compatible with the automatic rails. I was under impression you could just use cover and by the system. The remote one was a lot more but I figured if I got the cover I could buy the system later. But I am not sure. Easy installation, good quality materials, great price, cool product name. The low profile is great because it works with my racks, I used to have a different brand that was on top of the bed so got rid of it. Now I get both. Highly recommend!

I just needed an easy to use cover for my GMC - I had a snap on cover from a previous truck that didn't quite fit right and was very, very difficult to snap back down if it was cold. I wanted a cover that was a good value for the price, easy to use, and well made. I took a chance and ordered this Gator cover just before I started on a 1200 mile trip with a loaded bed. I couldn't believe how easy it was to install, fit beautiful and how easy it is to use. I doubted it would work as well as installation but to my great surprise and satisfaction it kept everything dry (even through some torrential downpours) and stayed looking like new! I have since folded it many times, taken it off and put it back on and have not had one problem!! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this cover! Thank you! ... show more

I'm extremely happy with this product for the cost that I paid. It's low profile and looks great. The Velcro siding is strong and I haven't had any issues. Same goes with the three cross bars, I don't seem to have much sag with heavy/snow. It rides well too, doesn't appear to be bothered by highway speeds. I wouldn't call it 100% water proof but it keeps most heavy rain/snow melt out. Installation was (almost) a breeze. My only problem was there was no room for error in width. I have plastics caps on my bed rails and about an inch of the plastic wraps down and covers the inside where the cover tracks needed to be secured. The plastic is about 1/8" thick, so 1/4" each total and it made the distance between the rails too narrow. Other than that small issue, which was no fault of the product, I've had zero issues. ... show more

Super happy with this product. I bought it primarily for MPG since I cruise at 80+mph at which point you can really feel the tailgate catching the wind without a cover, and cargo security. I chose this over a tri fold or solid cover because I frequently haul large cargo that needs the full bed length. Install was easy and the clamps didn't give me any issue. With the tailgate closed it actually helped hold and position the rails in place while I attached the clamps so I got a perfect install on both sides. I didn't really buy this for water resistance but was impressed at how dry the bed was even after the carwash save for a couple drips near the tailgate which are only due to the large gaps between the bed side and the tailgate. If I have any slight nags it's that the rubber seal flaps at the end make the tailgate a tad harder to open. Also I wish the cover was attached dead center with the bar closest to the cab instead of being able to slide left and right. If you're picky this makes it slightly annoying to perfectly center. Otherwise I'm so happy I got this. ... show more
