The media could not be loaded. I have I 2009 Chevy Silverado crew cab z71 5.8 bed... I ordered the one that goes up to 2006 classic one. 5.8 bed. The manufacturer told me it wouldn’t fit, but it fits very well, nice seal too! Easy install 10 mins. So far it seems like pretty good quality, the clamps are a little cheaply, but I plan on maybe changing them. I just tightened the clamps a little past firm because I know if you tighten them really tight they will break, or bend the frame. Overall very nice product for the price! Also if you register the vinyl comes with a 10 year warranty. Also I’ve only had this for a couple hours so I have no idea of longterm use. ... show more

    • Worth the price!
The cover was VERY easy to install. It looks great on my pickup. All the parts seem to be well built. I only had it in one rain storm, but everything stayed dry. It won't stop a determined thief, but will discourage most. I'd recommend this cover to anyone.

This was a birthday present for my Husband. He has been mentioning to me for awhile he would like one for his truck. We got it and it was easy to install. def need two people to set up, but it literally took us 15 mins to put together what was needed and then on the truck.

Cover is good, fairly easy to install. I used some spring clamps to hold the rails in place while clamping. Speaking of clamps, they suck. I think you need two more on an 8' bed, and they are simply miserable to deal with due to their design. I ended up buying a set of truxedo clamps (they make or at least distribute the gator) and I also used the original clamps. Six clamps on each side, not going anywhere and I think it helps seal the rail to the bed. I did buy this from Amazon warehouse so I had already saved $75, didn't feel to bad about the extra clamp cost. $28. The problem I ran in to, after mounting the rails, went to install the front header and tarp, the left header plug was missing. I went ahead and installed and figured I would get this plug and install it later. I contacted Amazon and they would only let me send the whole thing back, would not send the missing $3 part. Dumb. So I contacted Gator (Truxedo) and they wouldn't replace it either since it was purchased thru warehouse. They deem it "used", although it showed no sign of ever being installed. They did however, sell me the part, $3 and change plus $5 freight. I thought that was fair, they probably packed it properly originally, somewhere in the return process was lost. So Gator cover-4+stars- went thru the car wash twice, no water. I would buy again at list price and buy the clamps. I would like to see them just raise the price a little and upgrade the clamps plus add 2 more for 8' bed. Truxedo-5 stars-They were awesome to deal with and a huge help. Amazon warehouse-2 stars-Price was right but what a tremendous waste of time and energy shipping stuff back and forth. ... show more

Easy to install and fit is great, looks really nice. Good easy to follow instructions with well made parts. I installed it myself and had no issues with the parts, may have taken me an hour and 45 mins and I'm in my 70's. I'm sure a youngster can install it in under an hour.

A lot better than what I thought when it comes to a soft cover. The quality is awesome even though it is a soft cover it's very sturdy and fits tight we did have to adjust a little at the front. If done correctly it fits perfect! Looks great too! Great price.
