I received this power washer about two weeks ago. It came very well packed and was easy to assemble. The finish of the machine is excellent. It started on the second pull and has plenty of power. The machine has a very good soap dispensing system. I have rented similar size machines but have always found the soap function to be poor. The other feature that I really like is it has a gas gauge. I typically don't allow small gas engines, such as mowers etc, to run out of gas. This is a nice feature. We live on lake Lanier in north Georgia. I purchased this machine primarily to clear our boat dock annually. I used the machine yesterday for the first time. I ran it for approx. 7 hours. It performed very well and did an excellent job. I was able, in one day, to do what took two days with my electric power washer. I am very happy with the machine! ... show more

I received the pressure cleaner the other day. Everything looked good, except for the mysterious dent in the recoil cover, like several other reviewers had mentioned. I wrote to customer service. Not only did they send me a new recoil, but did a partial refund as well. Some reviewers stated that the gas tank was too small. I ran the pressure cleaner for over an hour straight and only used half a tank. I don't think that's too bad. The only downside to the cleaner is,it does take a few cranks to get it started but, not a deal breaker. Overall, I think this is a good pressure cleaner for the money. ... show more

    • Customer Service Solved Problem
UPDATED: This product was easy to assemble and easy to use. It was very difficult to start for the first use. I used the product one time for about 2 hours about on week after purchase. Aside from the difficulty in getting it to start the first time, all worked well. I assumed the starting issue was because it was the first time. After the first use, I drained the fuel tank and placed in my garage for about 3 months. Pulled it out to use again and filled the gas tank. Now the engine will not start at all. No fuel is getting to the engine. The fuel line is not clogged so it is definitely the carburetor. I contacted the company's customer service and they immediately addressed the issue and solved the problem. It was refreshing to have the issue addressed and a manufacturer stand behind the product. I will update again once I am able to give the product a second use. ... show more

    • Quick to set up and use
I did not have any of the issues mentioned by other users. I was using it in 10 minutes out of the box. It's somewhat less powerful than my old one with similar specs but that's ok as less stress using it and lighter/quieter. Hose is short and stiff as mentioned but that's the usual included hose. Also I don't like the where the hose attaches to the wand. It attaches in front of the trigger instead of at the end of the wand. I plan on adapting my 50' hose and old wand. And fuel tank holds about 30 min fuel so one will have to wait for engine to cool before refueling. But for the money it's worth it. ... show more

So iam having problems with machine I have called Amazon and spoke with someone in customer service whom has no glue what to do, there is 1800 phone on the machine I have called and left 2 messages and waiting 2 days with no response. So don’t buy a pressure washer from bilt hard or Amazon

    • Very hard to start
My 69 yr old mother, who is still in excellent shape, purchased this to wash her patio and house with. Every time she’d like to use it she has to call me over to pull the rope crank for her. I’m in my 40s and I struggle pulling the rope to crank it. Also, once it fires, it dies several times before it actually fires up and stays running for you to use it.
