  • Great Saw
I’ve been using chainsaws for decades. I have used the high end big name saws and they, in most cases are worth the money. This saw however is more than worth the price. Easy assembly, starts up on just a couple pulls every time, unless you run it out of fuel, which is to be expected with any saw. Light weight, good power, cuts fast. Probably not the saw a professional would purchase for cutting hours on end day after day but for the general user it’s a great saw. It does have a rather small fuel tank but that is why the unit is so lightweight. Again a general user shouldn’t mind filling the tank a bit more frequently to gain the ability to handle the saw easier. I’ve cleared about a quarter of an acre so far with it. Trees ranging from small brush to 18” diameter, it cuts fast and efficiently. ... show more

  • Good saw for the money
I am overall pleased with the saw. It comes with a lot more than I expected See the first picture. Here are some specifics. Cons: there is no primer bulb for starting. The off switch doesn’t have a guard, so it’s easy to bump with your thumb and shut off. I had trouble with the first assembly step. When putting the teeth on the front, I found one of the holes wasn’t tapped. The screw wouldn’t go in. I had to use my tap set to put threads in. Also the fuel mixing bottle has a leak. I noticed that many parts, like the top cover, you would expect to be metal are plastic. Pros: I’ve used this for several hours in my orchard. It starts right up every time. Very sharp chain and easy to use. I have had no issues with leaking fuel or chain oil in storage. It performs very well. Most 20” gas saws are over $400. I think it’s a good saw for the price. ... show more

  • A great value and works well
I'm giving this chainsaw 5 stars based on it's price and quality. If it was higher priced, I might expect more. But for the price, it's well worth what I paid. This chainsaw assembled fairly smoothly. It started up pretty quickly and idled well. I was out cutting a 20" log right out of the box. Then, after letting it sit for a couple of weeks, I came back to use it again, and it started up with only a few pulls. Made several dozen cuts. I do find the explanation of the oil mixture a little confusing. And I'm sure that's somewhat due to my lack of experience. I've only ever used electric chainsaws in my adult life. So I don't have a ton of experience to compare this chainsaw to others. However, I do believe it is a great value for the price when compared to other similarly reviewed items. There were a few difficulties in reading the instructions. For example, they explain that locking or breaking the device differently in two different places. I had to use some basic reasoning to figure out which text was correct to follow. Definitely written and translated by someone where English is not their first language. But I've seen a lot worse. ... show more

  • Great engine, but all else is junk
EDIT: The company offered a conditionless refund and kindly asked me to consider them again in the future. After contacting them to arrange for the refund, they asked me to jump through hoops by making a video showing issues. These conditions they added in order to receive a refund for a defective product are against the terms of service and requirements from Amazon for retailers, but they don't care because they will get away with it. I would strongly suggest you avoid Supamix Tools as a company. Buy this if you need a good chainsaw engine. It's loud though, but starts very easy. Concerning the bar, chain, tensioner, and all else, it is absolute junk. I got about 2 hours out of it before it just kept slipping no matter how much I torqued down the bolts holding the bar in place. Even when it's properly adjusted, it takes about 15 seconds to get it to cut across a 2-3 inch diameter tree limb. Waste of money, should have just spent a little more the first time...Now I'm out $600, $200 for this paper weight in my shed, and $400 for a decent entry level chainsaw that will actually cut. $600 would have gotten me a nice Husky, Stihl, or Echo. This chainsaw simply does not do anything other than make loud noises and running the chain across the wood without actually cutting anything. Avoid this company - they ripped me off. ... show more

  • Good chainsaw for The cost
This chainsaw was easy to set up and started right up. It does a great job cutting up 12 inch maple logs. I’ve been using it for about three months and have not had any issues with it.

  • Very Reliable Chain Saw
So far this seems like a very well made chainsaw. I like how easy and simple it is to start. It does seem to go through a lot of gas, and chain oil. The included mixing bottle is not very good. When you shake it, gas goes everywhere. The manual says to mix the gas during the break in period 20:1, and use 10w30 for the chain oil. There is a small screw on the saw, which you use to adjust the amount of oil the saw uses to lubricate the chain. Depending on the type of wood you are cutting, you can adjust it accordingly. I did find out that after using it a few times the chain started to become a little loose, but I adjusted it and its fine now. Stretching of the new chain is normal. The saw was fairly simple to setup, and the included tool bag is nice. This saw has plenty of power to cut through the hardest of woods. I have not had to sharpen the chain even after cutting through oak logs for hours. The saw is also VERY loud, almost twice as loud as my Stihl saw. Overall, its seems to be well made and reliable. ... show more
