  • Great little saw!
I have owneed this little arborist saw now for almost 3 months. I am very impressed. It is light and starts usually with one or two pulls. It has amazing power for it's small size. It cuts very well. I saw some other comments people had about it not cutting at all. I would guess they had the chain on backwards. Anyway, it's a solid value and a great little saw. ... show more

  • Fast starting amazing saw for the price point. Thoroughly impressed.
The media could not be loaded. I am so impressed with the saw that I bought another one along with their 20 inch model. Best starting to cycle engine I’ve ever come across. I use this on a daily basis out in the woods where we live. The top handle design makes it easy to use lightweight for saplings and even trees in diameter up to about 8 to 10 inches. Starts with first pull most of the time or second pull. The chain seems extremely sharp. Normal oil leak leakage, but that’s to be expected of all chainsaws. I have an echo Timberwolf and a Husqvarna rancher, both professional saws and they leak sometimes as well, but overall this is an amazing saw, especially for the price point. ... show more

  • Solid little chainsaw!
Finally had a chance to use this new small chainsaw. I bought it for its light weight. I needed a saw that I could use to cut saplings, branches, limbing out larger felled trees etc. It has plenty of power for these tasks. I can use it to cut branches slightly overhead also, provided that I use good safety techniques. The assembly instructions are pretty good, though I personally had to carefully read them several times to be sure I had translated the Chinese/English properly. The fuel mix is 25:1 unleaded reg. to 2 cycle oil. You get good plastic containers that make measuring the correct amounts of each, fool proof for enough fuel for a day’s work. Chain/bar oil are standard as is found for other saws. Fuel consumption is close to what you would expect. Chain oil consumption seems a little high but, that’s not a bad thing I guess. Starting was easy after the “first” use when the fuel needs a moment to get to the engine. One or two pulls was the most after that. Overall, it’s a good lightweight/powerful saw. I enjoyed my first day of work. I’m expecting that when using good non-ethanol unleaded gas with a good chain oil will yield a long reliable saw. If any issues arise in the future I’ll be sure to post my experience(s). It’s not for felling a mature tree but, it can be a good tool to have on hand after it’s on the ground and for the young ones before they get too big! ... show more

  • Great little saw for the money!
I wondered how good the salad would be for the price. For the price this saw is a five star! Yes, it is quite a bit different from a Stihl. That is probably arguably the best saw out there. But, for just over $100. This little size is amazing. Put it together fueled it up pulled it a couple of times and started it up and used it and it works great! It has a very cheap chain though. You should get a good chain for it. I am extremely satisfied for the price! I would recommend this to someone for a lightweight bucket. Saw that you can use with one hand. ... show more

  • Solid, great value
So far I'm extremely impressed with this little saw. I've run two tanks of gas through it so far. Turned the bar oil down a bit from factory (screw on bottom). Starts easily. I saw another comment on the location of the kill switch being an issue, it hasn't been for me at all. I actually have to reach a bit to get it (but not out of reach). My only gripe would be that the oil ratio is more than my other chainsaws, but not a big deal. You could buy 4 or 5 of these for the cost of a Stihl. I'm just a weekend warrior though. Would buy again. ... show more

  • Great Value For The Price!
I bought this to test the quality of these cheaper saws - and was not disappointed! It arrived quickly, was well packaged and was easy to assemble. I didn't get to use it for about 3 months, but it started and ran perfectly on the third pull when I put it to work. It zipped right through an 8" maple limb that had come down with no issue and is very easy to use with one hand. Perfect limbing saw. Actually surprised at the quality for the price. I can recommend this saw without reservation. ... show more

  • Actually not bad, didn't regret buying.
Honestly, great saw for the price. Leaks a little, i just lay it on the side, so the caps are face up. But, this thing rips. Used a couple times, months apart, and worked fine each time. Starts right up. No long term testing, yet.

  • REAL REVIEW and oddly......
I had the opportunity to try out this chain saw. Oddly......I like it! I'm a REAL buyer, in the USA, in MN. I can say, so far, it performs just as good as any other name brand! As a limming saw, its fabulous. Light enough to hold in one hand an breeze through the branches. It seemed to cut fast and idled great, ran at top RPM really well, and starting was better than some others that I have. The Power. THis is the only 3 to 4 star part. AS a limming saw, it's perfect, but cutting any green wood over id say 5", it did not have the power to push through, but I will say that I put a lot of force on it to cust fast, but if you let the saw do the work, you are just fine. But then again, I can stop a 24" saw dead in it's tracks too! So, in the end, over all, I'd say BUY THE 3 year warranty through amazing!!! Then it won't break down in that 3 years. lol I'm very happy with it, and there inst much from china I'm ever happy with. As far as gas and chain oil.....Seems to use it equally and lube appropriately. Not excessive oil use, not under oiled. GREASE THE END OF THE BAR!!! This will prolong the life of the bar and chain, I always do that. There are a lot of accessories included which is awesome. I bought them NOT knowing this, so I have tripples, but to start out, It will include everything needed except gas and bar oil. TO ADJUST THE CHAIN TENSION, Never fully loosen the two bar screws, Just enough, then pull UP on he end of the bar while turning the little black screw then tighten the two silver screws and you'll chain wont come lose when sawing, UNLESS you are using the top of the bar to cut up with a lot of pressure. But in the end, Over all, SO FAR, I'm quite impressed. ... show more
