  • Best chainsaw on the market!
I had my doubts but I was proved wrong. Works great, cuts great and doesn’t get stuck when cutting through a big tree. Worth every penny!

  • Cut a truckload of oak with it.
Now for the update. The chain is as sharp as a razor. I can cut a 17 inch log with one hand. See video. Today it was a little bit warmer so no trouble oiling bar less than half empty. Maybe instead of using bar oil I'll use 10w-30. I was cutting down saplings when I accidentally sawed through barbed wire. Again see picture. I yanked it out of the saw, checked the blade and I didn't see any damage to the teeth. So just to make sure I sharpened it again and good as new! Let me give yall a piece of advice. Don't buy just one, buy two. Use the first one until it wears out and then used the other one and keep the first one for parts. What are my final thoughts? I'm not planning on buying an overpriced Stihl or Husky ever again. My real rating is now a 4.5. Ok I'm going to start with the cons then the pros. Cons 1. Too damn loud. I wear ear protection but that muffler ain't much. 2. Wrong size sharpening file. Should be 3/36 not 5/32. Not a problem for me but a novice might not know better. 3. Off on switch is going to be a problem for people who don't crank carefully. 4. Oil pump can't pick up oil at less than half full. If the res is half full, fill it and you'll be ok. 5. The air filter doesn't filter the fines very well. Added an o ring to where it connects to the intake and a small o ring at the base of the bolt. I used polyseamseal to seal/glue the two halves of the filter together. Then I went to Dollar Tree and found a pair of ankle socks in the women's section size 5-9 that fitted over the entire air filter nicely. I scissored a nice round hole for the bolt section, the ankle hole was the right size for the intake area. I put everything in place, put that top back on, fired it up and it runs like a champ with the sock around the air filter. Pros. 1. That motor is powerful enough to run a 32 inch blade easy. 2. Golly gee wiz that blade was sharp. Cut through large oak like a hot knife through butter. 3. Starts up quick. ... show more

  • Strong runner. Super easy to start.
Blown away by the quality of this saw for the money. Could not possibly be better. Starts super ez . . . 2 pulls when it arrived brand new. 1 pull every time since. Stays running at a nice low idle while you take a break or move wood around. Tremendous power as well. The included fuel mixing bottle is super handy too. This saw is so eager to run it starts as soon as you begin to pull the cord. The first time the engine turns over it's already running. Super impressed. Ran 4 tanks of gas through it on the first day I had it, and cut through some really twisted knotted hardwood with ease. 2 foot + diameter logs were no problem at all. This product is cutting wood on easy mode. 👌 🙂😎 ... show more

  • good saw for price
I havent had much luck with buying chainsaws over the years. So I decided not to spend $400 on a name brand 20inch saw and did some research on them here to pick a winner and went with this one. It arrived, on time yesterday, and today I( decided to test it out. It assembles easy enough and the directions are very clear. During assemble I noticed that a bar covering a vent on the side was broken off and the cover itself has a small crack near the vent. Not a deal breaker but it should be mentioned. Got to starting the engine and noticed the choke knob didnt feel right trying to pull it all the way out so I got curious and went inside and took the air cleaner out just so I could see if the choke was closing and it wasnt. The linkage rod for the choke had gotten bent enough so it wouldnt pull the choke closed. Easy fix, however, for and inexperienced user this would prevent the saw from starting. I continued to follow the starting instructions and it started as stated in the instruction manual. This thing is a beast and has a very powerful engine. It runs well and cut all the oak I had easily. Im pleasantly surprised and overall I think this is a good saw for the money. There were a few minor things that may ruin it for some people, though. ... show more

  • nice saw but can't get replacement bar and chain
saw started easy ran and cut good, oiler was easy to adjust and sprayed oil off end of bar, but the end sprocket on the guide bar froze in place. Tried to get replacement part number and seller asked for a picture. The PN in user manual do not match the saw. found an Oregon 20" bar but chain is to short. I should have returned it ... show more

  • Good running saw right out of the box
This saw has impressed me. Bought it as a backup saw and it worked perfectly out of the box. Lots of spring storms have put it to use falling trees and cutting limbs. Don’t be scared of this one it’s a good deal. Comes with a scrunch, extra spark plug, and some other things.

  • Great chainsaw, difficult to find replacement chain and service
I've now used this saw for about 4 1-hour sessions. It starts on the 3rd pull every time; has lots of power, an aggressive, professional chain from Sthof and cuts through large logs with ease. The chain comes with a warning, it is not low-kickback and caution must be used, particularly when finishing a cut. Replacement chains (.325, .058 76 drive link), are hard to find; the one referenced in the manual is incorrect. The manufacturer does not sell chains but comparable ones (not Stohf) can be found online. The manufacture does offer support through Amazon, but it is not very good; their answers are brief, not detailed and did not address my question. Apparently, they sell only the complete chainsaws, and not parts. Also, most repair shops will not service this 'off-brand' so I bought the extended warranty, which I hope will not be needed. - ... show more
