This is not a fake review. I purchased mine through Amazon. The only other product I've used like it is the Kerastase K Water. It has the same effect and lasts for one shampoo. I have long, fine hair that is straight. The bottom half of may hair is somewhat damaged through color -- enough so that when I dry it, I don't get that shiny bouncy look like a professional blowout. When I use this product, I do. I dry with a large round brush and my hair has that K-glass look. The price is much better than the Kerastase K water pricing you can find online and it is really only supposed to be sold as an in-salon treatment! I have to say, this is the first product I've ever used on my hair that I'd consider as a really stand out product in terms of being different and effective. ... show more

I loved this product the first time I used it. I definitely noticed it cut about 5 minutes off my blow drying time. And my hair looked fantastic--very full but not frizzy and the style lasted longer. However, the more I used it the less effective it seemed--I think it builds up and weighs down my hair. After discontinuing it for several months, I tried it again. I PAID FULL PRICE. Now that I have that out of the way. I love this stuff. I have thicker hair. I used to have super thin hair but I’ve been taking this powder in my coffee. My hair stylist was shocked. I didn’t even say anything and she said She didn’t realize my hair was so thick? Thanks Heidi :). Anyway...I get highlights, full highlights, a lot of bleach has been done to my hair over the years. This stuff makes my hair so beautiful. Nothing I’ve ever tried has worked like this. My hair (hard to describe) is so “flippy-floppy”, it moves as I walk, like back and forth. If you know bleach damage, it makes your hair straw like or stuff. I can hold up a grip of hair and falls downwards, or lays downwards. It’s soft, silky soft. I’ve ordered so much because I’m afraid it will be discontinued. I received a sample and that sample sat in my shower for months. One day I was just tired of seeing it there so I used it and was shocked. Give it a try but listen, don’t use too much, especially at your roots. It will look oily after a couple days. I use about a quarters worth. I pour it into my hand in too if my shampoo and mix it together. I apply it to my hair, all over and mix it in real good and let it sit a few minutes. I then mix it into my roots to clean my roots and scalp and rinse. I don’t let it sit in my roots/scalp very long. I don’t want to look oily. Blondes tend to look oily when using anti frizz products sometimes. I apologize for such a long read but I had to get the message out. ... show more

I read the reviews and wasn't really sure what to expect. Just tried it this morning, it worked extremely well for me. I have long grey hair. Very thick and coarse with some strong natural wave. If I want it straight, it takes about a half hour after blow drying and then it still isn't right. I mixed it about 2/3 shampoo to 1/3 product. I could tell as soon as I removed the towel it was working. I air dried it for about 15 mins then used the hair dryer. I cant believe how straight it came out. So happy with this product. I think it varies on person to person based on texture and how much curl is in hair. Its just not going to work for every type. ... show more

I purchased because I'm growing my hair out, which is pretty wavy with a lot of body. I need a product to straighten it out a little and keep it from being too frizzy. Tried this bundle and It's hard to tell if the shampoo/"sleek shot"/conditioner doesn't really do anything in terms of de-frizzing and straightening, or it just doesn't do much. That said, it's inexpensive, and may have a slight effect. On the drying side, I don't think this saves me any time with blow-drying my hair. Wouldn't give it 5 stars, but it's not a bad product. I'm not sure if I'd buy again, but I wouldn't tell someone not to purchase and give it a try. ... show more

I absolutely love this stuff. While I’ve never been much for styling my hair, having a newborn and toddler has taken the little time I had to almost none. Most of the time I let my hair air dry and still find that it’s smoother, shinier and so much softer. Air drying definitely doesn’t create the same look as when I straighten my hair, but the feel is almost the same. I also have very thick hair and when I use this regularly I don’t feel the need to have my hair thinned out. I still have some flyaways, but so much less frizz. I use Aussie Total Miracle shampoo and conditioner along with this and cannot imagine doing anything different. My favorite part about using these together is that it keeps my hair feeling cleaner longer and I can go a few days between washes. If I want to get that “day after washing” feeling I need to add something, like a heat protectant or anti-frizz spray, to my hair. It does need to be used with your shampoo which, as dumb as it sounds, isn’t the easiest thing especially when you start getting to the end of the tube.
