I’m showing my old one ( the blue one ) with the new one. It’s at least 2 inches wider. The old one used to have plastic feet on each corner, so 8 feet total but they have broken off during the last 15 years. So it rocks and falls over. The one I just received is made better I think. The entire bottom is made of a plastic that seems sturdy. The shorter bottom which is made to kneel on has plastic feet but within the bar and not on the very edges. It works as should. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the color, it’s like a faded weird green kind of ugly. But it’s comfortable and easy to put together and light weight. Perfect the the gardener in your family.

This is a great item if you or someone you know loves to garden, it is especially useful for those with joint pains or elderly that still enjoy gardening but need some help getting up and down. The little seat is really easy to use, you just need to fold out the sides. To fold the sides back down you squeeze the area with the spring and fold it back in. The really neat thing about this seat is that you can flip it over to use it as something to kneel on as well. Each side has a thick piece of foam like a yoga mat on it for added comfort. The set also comes with some gardening gloves, a little belt to wear or place on the stool to hold your tools, and a pair of pruning sheers. I’m very pleased with this garden bench. It’s easy to fold up for storage and unfold for use. The seat is wider than others I have tried, so you don’t have to be a stick figure to use it. It’s very sturdy, and I like the green color. The bench/kneeler has a side pouch for a few gardening tools, which comes in very handy if you’re working a distance from your storage shed. The pouch sits easily on the side rail. It has straps that I assume are supposed to secure it, but I couldn’t figure out exactly how they were supposed to wrap around and buckle. No biggie. As a bench, the seat is very comfortable and a good height for working on your flower beds or potted plants. As a kneeler, I would say it’s pretty good – reasonably comfortable. I really like this garden kneeler! I mostly use it with the platform close to the ground, which allows the arms to be used as handles to help you stand back up. So convenient. Came with pruning shears and gloves (the cloth kind with grip dots on them). I took off one star because the listing and product provide conflicting information on the weight limit. The listing says 350 lbs and the card that came with the product says 250 lbs. I reached out to the seller for clarification, and they said "Typically, our garden kneeler can support 250lbs. It is completely fine. And the maximum weight of our garden kneeler is 350lbs" ... show more

This is really a nice piece of equipment to have when working in your garden. Of course, you can also use it in your house but I got it for gardening. The cushion is very comfortable whether you're sitting on it or kneeling on it. I know I'll use it more sitting but nice to know the knees are cushioned when kneeling. I love that it comes with a bag to store your most used tools. It came with a great pair of pruners and gloves. That was a real plus. You can either leave it as pictured or collapse it. This thing is well made. Very compact, folds up easily and should even be little problem to get folded/unfolded for folks who suffer with arthritis in hands and so forth. Very little effort required. When unfolded and using as a seat, I found it overall to be pretty stable. It was super stable rocking front and back a little on it, when I rocked a little side to side, there was just a little give or wobble to it that made it feel a bit unsteady. However I do not think this would in any way make it unsafe. It just has a little give to it side to side due to the fold out design of the thing. It may not be a great choice for very heavy folks, but it claims it will hold up to 350lbs. Sorry but I couldn't put on weight fast enough to test that for this review anyway, but I would guess it could hold that. It's pretty lightweight, comes with a nice pair of gardening shears & cute useful gloves. One star off just for the slight side to side wobble. Great otherwise. ... show more
