I have bad knees from gardening for decades before I started using knee pads. I like to weed by hand. I don't like spraying pesticides on weeds because of the danger to beneficial insects and to the environment. I needed a comfortable seat to do some of the work because I can't work on my knees for long periods as I used to. This seat has a washable pad and is height adjustable and has a loop to grab and carry it. Because of the curved base, make sure you place it on the ground carefully as you can end up falling backwards. I was pleasantly surprised that the stool is a lot more stable than it looks. I’m looking forward to using it! but I fit on it just fine and I am a heavier woman. I needed it for weeding my flowerbeds so that I didn’t have to stoop over or squat. it is the perfect height for it and is adjustable and looks very well-made. As other reviewers have noted, if this was priced at $9.95, it *might* be worth it, but even that is debatable. But it CERTAINLY isn't worth 60 bucks, what a total ripoff. It's made of cheap molded plastic like some child's toy, and rocks only about maybe 2-3 inches. Pretty pointless and useless, there are many other garden stools that are solidly made and will last -- this certainly won't! ... show more
