If your hooking up a Hayward skimmer to a Intex pool your going to need this conversion kit because Hayward does not give you the correct adapters. This kit worked perfect and was easy to install. They also give you plumbing tape with the kit. Excellent product.

The filters that come with the intex pools are terrible. Then when you want to change them to something a little stronger the hoses that connect the pool are the wrong size. So you need these adapters to be able to connect them. They work great. Just put a little teflon tape on both ends and you’re good to go. ... show more

    • Great fit for new pump
The pump went out on our intex sand filter so I bought just a new pump that comes with normal 2" and 1.5" npt threads. The intex style pools have a weird thread and I didn't want to cut the hose. These adapters came with the gaskets and o-rings and fit perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I'm running an Intex C2500 pump/filter with a Hayward skimmer on a Polygroup Summer Waves pool. I wanted a LOT of power. The 40mm ends connect well to the Intex hoses, although don't over tighten. They do pop, so there could be a size issue and I just don't see any leaking so I'm good with the fit. And the 1 1/2 end connects perfectly to the Hayward parts. I have since added the Intex Above Ground Plunger Valves between the GAME adapters and the Intex C2500 hoses. ... show more
