Ordered these for my wooden clogs and they've done pretty good. They don't hold up as well as I'd like, but they're good enough for the price! If you're wearing your shoes a normal amount on normal floors then I'm sure they'd do great. They're just not heavy duty enough for constantly walking across rocks. ... show more

I purchased these for use on shoes and boots that I wear in connection with my living history engagements. Each pair has smooth leather soles & heels which were less than safe on the stone walks and steps of the 18 century fort where I am frequently encamped. The pads are certainly substantial and appear to adhere quite well. I was able to cut the heel pads to fit nicely and am pleased with how the pads look and feel. I have some old, comfortable shoes that I wear around the house outdoors. The soles have worn smooth and, as a consequence, if they get wet, there are VERY slippery on a smooth surface. I saw these and thought I would give them a try. I used two pads per shoe - one on the heel and another around the balls of my feet. They work splendidly! No more slipping and sliding when they are wet. I'm SO happy to have the shoe life extended. They are thin, so I don't feel like I'm going to fall over. This is another review I'd like to give 4.5 stars to -- the one drawback is the longevity... I'm had them on my shoes for just a few weeks, and these seem to already be wearing smooth themselves. In rainy weather watch out for metal grates, plastic features on the ground… the grip is only great for asphalt and indoor floors it slips on some materials… it also wears thin faster than expected but does the job well enough

I recently used these for an event where I needed to be on my feet a lot in heels. These pads served their purpose well, providing the extra grip and stability I needed. these were important for me since I had to be ready for absolutley anything and not worry about slipping, and they delivered that and served their purpose. They are also discreet and arnt really noticable, even if someone is in a position where they can see the bottom of your shoes. I did find myself having to readjust them a few times throughout the day, it felt like the adhesive was wearing off. Despite this being a bit of a inconvenience, the pads did do everything that they said they would do, they helped me stay steady on my feet, and I felt confident walking around, knowing that the pads were helping my grip on the floor. They were a definite worthwhile purchase for the day and did a good job keeping me secure in my heels for this special ocasion. ... show more
