I am a prolific crafter, quilter, seamstress and doll collector. The room in our new home for my needs is great, but just not quite big enough for all my storage needs. I needed a tall cabinet that wasn’t too deep or too wide because it had to fit in the “loft” (wide hallway) outside the room. This fit the bill almost perfectly. The only downside was that I don’t “do” wood tones. So, I painted the top black and put on other door pulls that I already had on hand. Beautiful. I was able to store 90% of my fabric in this cabinet. I was honestly shocked how much I got in there without stuffing it! I’m now getting ready to buy a second one for the rest of my fabric and other supplies. Because it fits my needs perfectly, I find the price to be quite reasonable. It took me (a middle aged woman) about 45 minutes to put together by myself. I used wood glue anywhere the dowels went and had zero issues. Even with one of the cats “helping”. I find it to be sturdy and stable and did not bother to anchor it to the wall because it doesn’t teeter at all on my carpet (and there are no children in my home). ... show more

I’d give it 5 stars, except that the dowels provided were too narrow. We had to pop out to the store and get a proper 1/4” dowel and cut it down into 1” long pieces. Once that was done, it was pretty smooth sailing. I bought 4 cabinets, so my husband and I put them together two at a time, since it takes about 2-3 hours to put one together. So, we got all 4 done in about 5 hours, not counting the trip to the store. I wanted them to somewhat look like built ins without being built ins, and I needed them to have doors. My kitchen is tiny, so these are in the dining room and work as my kitchen pantry. See the pictures for how much fits in them. My crockpot and instapot were too wide to fit—couldn’t shut the doors on them. ... show more

Love this! The color is exactly in the picture. It was pretty easy to assemble. I completed 90% on my own just needed an extra set of hands for a few parts. The quality looks pretty good especially for the price. I gave it 4 stars because the doors didn’t line up perfectly so you can see the magnets but otherwise it looks great. It is not super sturdy so would definitely recommend screwing it into a wall to prevent it from tipping ... show more

We got this for extra kitchen/pantry storage since our current kitchen is lacking. It did have a chemical smell first out of box but it has gone away. Husband put it together by himself in under an hour. Shelves are sturdy, we have it packed with can goods in the bottom portion.

I really like this cabinet. For me, flat pack furniture is just used until I can find real wood furniture that will do the job. After building this piece though I actually like it. My only issue is that it isn’t as deep as I thought. Oops. Guess I had the wrong dimensions stuck in my head.
