I listened to other reviewers and I got the twin size futon but ordered the twin XL cover. I’m glad I did because when I washed and dried it- it did get smaller but still fits a nice snug over the futon. Sooo easy to wash and dry. I did normal wash with a light 5 below brand comforter, baby blue Walmart pillow case, white futon cover and white fitted sheet to put over the cover (that one is incredibly soft). Throw all of them in a front loader washer on normal wash with some Lysol sanitizer detergent, fabric softener and just a dash of regular liquid ALL free and clear. Everything came out clean and no bleeding of colors. Tossed in the dryer on normal with some dryer balls- came out dry and ready to use. I will note that it does wrinkle and there are alot of wrinkles when used in the dryer but that is not a big deal breaker for me since I slip a fitted sheet over it. Also I keep it on futon and it folds with the futon without issues. ... show more

The Fuli mattress without the mattress cover is like a fish flopping around on the deck of a schooner in a gale; subject to all swirling detritus awash on the deck. Just drop it in the washer once a week with the rest of the bed linens and everything will be shipshape and Bristol fashion.

The texture is amazing for this set of covers. I have dark grey and navy blue. The navy blue has been used, washed, and used again. I opened this one up to use a different color and from the box, it ripped at the seam by where the zipper goes. I haven’t even had it a year yet and it was a little disappointing. Not sure how to approach the company about this but it’s one problem in a sea of good. If they fix this, then I have no problem with giving 5 stars. ... show more

We bought two of these to go on the shikibuton we bought from the same brand. One of them is not long enough, even though the package says it’s the right size, and therefore causes the bed to bow when it’s on. The other’s zipper broke after only two uses and we had to use a cutting and sewing hack we found online to get it back together. Very disappointing to spend so much money on mattress covers off this quality. Just hope the actual mattress is more durable. ... show more

I have an Ecin Twin (75” long) Shikibuton purchased here on Amazon, and was looking for a cover. With all of the reviews talking about this cover shrinking, I decided to get the XL Twin for this cover and use my regular washer and dryer settings to let it shrink. It does get much shorter, but the width seems to generally stay the same. Now the cover is just a few inches longer than the futon, but I just fold the extra underneath to look more neat. And, most importantly, I don’t have to hang it to dry or wash it in gently, because who has time for that kind of special care? It is comfortable. I have only just put it on, so I cannot comment on durability yet, but seems like it will be fine. The zipper seems sturdy. We shall see. ... show more

It fits my futon perfectly. This is my 2nd cover from the same company and I love them both. They are super comfortable, great fit, and the zipperand stitching is solid. However, it is vital to follow the care instructions. When it says dry on low heat only it means it. I ruined one with normal heat, it shrank by 30% and no longer fits the futon properly.
