She was on it and scratching it even before I built it 😂😂😂 It was easy to build and she 'helped' every step of the way. Chased the screws, chewed the sides, and swatted at the ball. Also she loves the bonus tuft that came with it. Its sturdy and a good height. She can stretch out to really scratch at the top. It comes with little rubber stickers to help stabilize it. This one quickly became her favorite scratching post. She has 4 others that she's abandoned in favor of this one. Will repurchase when it gets too scuffed, which despite her constant use of it, seems like it will last awhile~ ... show more

Comes broken down in a compact box. Easy to put together. Surprisingly very sturdy for cardboard! I have a young ragdoll (9mo, 12 lbs, so far) who took to it immediately. The foam pads for wall protection is very smart. The large size is a good size. My cat is quite long so he doesn't get a full stretch when scratching but likes it regardless. L shape is good for wall and minimizes space required compared to free standing scratchers. I will buy more to have replacements on hand. Seeing some damage to it after 3 wks of use but this is to be expected for a young and also large breed cat. Hope this helps someone decide! ... show more

My tabby cats love this scratcher! They are both roughly 12 pounds. It is the perfect size for them. The side panels make it nice and sturdy. You have to do a little bit of assembly, but I found the instructions very simple to follow. It took about 5 minutes to put together. The scratcher part doesn’t seem to shed much cardboard like other scratchers often do which I enjoy about this one. It has floor grips and wall bumpers which I found to be a nice touch! My only wish is that the boards could easily be flipped so we could utilize all sides before it gets worn out. ... show more

This scratcher is amazing. We have a 6 month old kitten and he has the biggest craving to scratch upwards. The L shaped scratcher was easy to out together and comes with a lovely little bell ball that I was skeptical if he would like, however, it might be his favorite part. Better yet, my 18 pound 7 year old cat can use it as well just as comfortably. Great product and worth the price! ... show more

Easy to set up, good quality item and...Believe it or not...This item is versatile and I have it as a scratch pad, once starting to wear, flip the direction and make it a ramp so there is zero waste. Now my cat and I use it as a play area too. She climbs up the ramp does a scratch, plays with the ball that comes with it (super bonus) gets a brush while there and stretches during, then we discovered she loves balls. She now waits for me to roll the ball down the ramp and chases it. Then she sits at the bottom and I roll it to her and she swats it back up or off the side. The next thing she did was hide to look under the arch and hit the ball back and forth under or wait for it to pop out the other side and non stop fun. Phu! I am worn out. We love this brand for our cats. The product is well designed, and the cats love these scratching pads. The only negative comment I have is that I tried to put this on the edge of our couch (to prevent the cats from scratching the couch), but the pads that came with the stand to keep it in place were not sticky enough to keep the stand in place, and the scratcher toppled over. Thus, I had to move the scratcher next to a wall where it remained intact. ... show more

I was hesitant about purchasing. Arrived quickly. You do have to assemble but it's very easy and takes maybe 12/15mins. Both my cats were hovering around me while I assembled and they both pounced on it and started ripping immediately. A ball with a bell goes in the corner channel and easily rolls back and forth keeping my younger cat frustrated and amused. Well made, though all cardboard scratchers, I wish they could somehow make the cardboard stronger and more shred-resistant so they last longer. Otherwise, I'm VERY HAPPY with this purchase... My younger cat is still trying to figure out how he can get the yellow ball out of the channel. Will purchase again!! ... show more
