Features

  • Live in detail with the worlds first 40-megapixel APS-C sensor X-H2 blends the compact and lightweight versatility of APS-C mirrorless cameras with an unmatched back-side illuminated X-Trans CMOS 5 HR imaging sensor. Add in an optimized pixel layout that promises exceptional detail, unrivaled color accuracy, and impressive video flexibility, these game-changing features are made possible only with X-Processor 5, which delivers lightning-fast performance to help X-H2 deliver 8K/30p video, enhanced autofocus capabilities, and black-out free image bursts at 15fps. Not to mention, its also more efficient than its predecessor, boosting battery performance by 10%.
  • X-H2 uses its native 8K video resolution to give filmmakers several ways of unlocking the cameras true potential. X-H2 offers a suite of video functions that make it perfect for every moviemaking occasion. Apple ProRes 10-bit 4:2:2 footage can be recorded internally at up to 8K/30p using a CFexpress Type B card, while 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW*1 or Blackmagic RAW*2 footage can be recorded to compatible external devices* via the full-size HDMI Type A port. Additionally, when recording video using the F-Log2 color profile, X-H2s dynamic range extends to 13+ stops a one-stop improvement over the previous sensor, enhancing post-production flexibility.
  • Pixel Shift Multi-Shot X-H2 is the first X Series to feature Pixel Shift Multi-Shot, which delivers 160-megapixel images for the ultimate quality when detail really matters. A staple of GFX System cameras, Pixel Shift Multi-Shot records 20 frames, shifting the sensor by 0.5 pixels between each frame. Resulting images are automatically combined into one DNG RAW file, which can be output to a desired file format using suitable RAW processing software. This groundbreaking feature is invaluable for archival recording and other commercial applications where color fidelity and fine detail are paramount. Using Pixel Shift Multi-Shot ensures false colors and moire effects are suppressed.
  • Improved in-body image stabilization (IBIS) offers seven stops of compensation and features an enhanced algorithm that improves motion detection. This produces shake-free results in more scenarios than ever before, most notably when panning or following subjects on foot for video. For stills photographers, full-resolution images can be recorded at an incredible 15 frames-per-second when using the mechanical shutter, while those switching to the electronic shutter can work at 20fps in the 1.29x crop factor option. Further high-speed options are provided by the electronic shutters 1/180,000 sec top speed, while photographers seeking optimum quality will welcome the lower minimum ISO 125.
  • With its broad range of wired and wireless options for transferring image and video data, the X-H2 camera body supports wireless image transfer through the Fujifilm Remote Camera App and natively delivers webcam resolutions of up to 4K/60p for a high-quality live streaming experience. With the optional VFT-XH Wireless File Transmitter Battery Grip functionality is expanded even further. The grip adds tethering connections and FTP file transfer through Wi-Fi, Ethernet and smartphone connections, plus the Remote Rec function. This enables up to four camera bodies, with VFT-XH battery grips attached, to be connected and controlled via a web browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

  • Great camera
Style: Camera Only Set: Body
To keep it simple, here is a list of the strengths and weaknesses of this camera: + The image clarity is amazing and you can especially notice it when using the new 18mm, 23mm, 33mm, or 53mm lenses. Those are the three new primes made specifically for the additional pixels. + As with all of the Fujifilm cameras, the lens simulations are awesome. I have previously owned both Nikon and Cannon cameras and I may have used maybe 1% of the images straight out of the camera without editing in Photoshop etc. With the Fujifilm camera I probably use 25% of the images straight out of the camera and I am very picky with what I will use. + The focus speed is very fast and accurate. I really didn't have any problem with the X-T4 with regards to it's autofocus speed but this one is even better although not by a large margin in my opinion. There just wasn't a large room for improvement at the start. + The size of the camera is perfect for my hands. It is a bit larger than the X-T4 but not that much heavier and the size hits in my end very well with out putting on a bracket like I had to with the X-T4 which probably made it weight the same anyway. + I really love how they adjusted the display so you could always have the 3D electronic level on. I hope that they do this with all of their cameras in the future. I use this all the time with so many shots so it is nice to have in automatically on at all times. + The in camera view is extremely clear and never blacks out and with the fast refresh rate, you never miss an image and the clarity is amazing. + The new autofocus button (M, C, S). I am indifferent to the button but do really like being able to set it to go along with my C settings on the PSAM dial. Because of portrait settings I like certain settings but I prefer manual for landscape and being able to do this to this level I really like. -+ The PSAM dial. I would actually prefer it did not use this dial. However, it is VERY useful to me with regards to all of the settings one can adjust with the C pre-defined settings. I really wish Fujifilm could figure out a way to allow a person to control all of the settings (like image size, image quality, autofocus setting, etc.) with the Q settings in the other cameras like the X-T4. I do not understand why they can't do this in the others and I find this very useful and then I would not want the PSAM dial at all. - My biggest hang up is in the removal of the the clickable command dials. I really hate this! It is very nice in the other cameras to be able to set this to things like the ISO so you don't have to waste a button and are very easy to adjust quickly. - This is getting EXTREMELY picky but a friend of mine has the old Fujifilm XF-10 camera. I rarely use the Filter settings but he was showing me all of the extra ones on his camera and some of the cool images straight out of the camera. I do not understand when they have already done the programming to create these, why they don't do that on all following cameras. There are very few things that I dislike about this camera and am actually very pleased with how well it both handles and performs. ... show more

  • Amateur photographer’s dream
Style: Camera Only Set: Kit
Coming from the Fujifilm X-T3 , this camera feels more robust and easier to handle because of the large grip. I absolutely love shooting with it and I take it everywhere. With that being said, the looks and feel shouldn’t justify your purchase decision alone. I don’t shoot videos at all so I didn’t opt for the S version but this camera is certainly capable. The battery life is great compared to the XT3 and I love the always on display. The view finder is bright and crisp. The auto focus is very nice as well. With the 40 megapixels, I notice the difference when I crop images and zooming in to see the clarity and sharpness. I won’t be an amateur much longer. I feel like I have arrived when I shoot with this lol. No seriously, great camera. If you want to upgrade or just try it out you should. The price may be steep so your current camera may get the job done just fine. ... show more

  • My first mirrorless camera
Style: Camera Only Set: Kit
I've been shooting pictures and a little video since the film days. I've mainly used DSLR's and had some reservations switching to mirrorless cameras. This camera has put all my reservations to rest. The viewfinder provides an electronic view better than the best digital SLR cameras because of its electronically controlled brightness that shows what your actual picture will look like, or you can have it show the natural view like DSLR. The difference is that at 120 MHz, the view is just as good as a pentaprism used in a DSLR. Secondly, it is somewhat lighter than an equivalent full frame camera since its APSC, but the pictures look just as good with the advances in sensor technology. Fujifilm's latest lenses developed for the 40 MP sensor are fast and sharp edge to edge and priced less than equivalent full frame lenses. I am in love with this system and this camera in particular, and the viewfinder was what finally sealed the deal for me. ... show more

  • A perfect camera
Style: Camera Only Set: Kit
I’ve tried cameras from almost each brand and I can easily say that this camera has such a beautiful edge on most APS-C. Amazingly perfect for the value and the light weight versatility packed into a small body.

  • Great camera!
Style: Camera Only Set: Body
It is a great camera for the price. The IQ is excellent and the 40 MP are really present when working in LR you have so much data to work with. I also have an x-t4 which I love, but I would say the x-h2 is more than $400 better. The auto focus is not perfect, but it is much better than the x-t4.

  • Happy with the Switch from Canon
Style: Camera Only Set: Body
I decided to switch away from Canon, which I've shot for 20 plus years, after realizing that I wasn't doing much photograph because of the weight of the full frame system. It was a hard decision, but my research on Fuji indicated that their camera were lighter, more user-friendly and far more customisable. The research was correct. I received the camera in the last few days and have been working with it to get used to the new [for me] menu and controls style. I have to say this is impressive. The body is similar in weight to full-frame cameras but the difference lies in the glass. It is so much lighter that I can easily see myself taking this out for a full day of shooting. The camera itself is impressive, with an almost complete ability to customise the camera. I'm a very happy customer. ... show more

  • Great camera, but used, damaged product sent by Amazon.
Style: Camera Only Set: Body
Purchased from Amazon a new item, but received a clearly used item: a screen crack, an included SD card, clear fingerprints, very unorganized batteries and other stuff, and NO warranty info or user guide.
