This is it very nice quality chair. It's very high quality. It's very sturdy, it's relatively heavy too. The package arrived damage with a big hole in it. But there was nothing missing, not even much as a scratch on this. So it must be durable material. This took a little longer than I thought it would putting it together. Wasn't hard but takes some work. It didn't help. I put something on wrong, That's my fault. So I had to take it off and put it back on. The instructions seem easy enough, Seem to explain and show things easily. Surprisingly this seems really comfortable, It didn't seem like it would be that, but it is quite comfortable even without a pillow of some sort. It is pretty high up, Baby's not the best for shorter people. But for me it's just perfect, I'm 5'10". Does looks slightly odd being high. Other than that it looks great. The black color really looks good. In the summer, however, it does get very warm being black in color. You may want to keep it in the shade if it's in the summer. This is very easy to clean. Over seems a great value for the money, It is very high quality and comfortable to sit in. It seemed that should last a long time. ... show more

I know the price seems steep, but knowing that you'll probably have this chair for the rest of your life, it's worth it. The recycled material it's made with is meant to last. A lot of these kind of chairs have lifetime warranties for a reason. Putting it together wasn't difficult and all the parts were included. It's SO comfortable! I love these high Adirondack chairs! You sink right into it and don't want to get out. But getting out isn't difficult either. It has a nice step to help you get in and out. I can't recommend this enough. The assembly instructions are pretty bad. You can not tell which direction certain parts need to go, so do not bother tightening all of the nuts and bolts until you get the chair fully assembled. I only had to disassemble 1 section. The parts are well labeled and the screws and nuts are well labeled, but the instruction pictures are not clear enough and the instructions are not detailed enough to tell which direction the parts should go. Once assembled, it is sturdy and very comfortable. It looks very nice and the HDPE materials is strong and water proof. The chair is high up, so you do not have to struggle getting up from the chair. The arms are wide and supportive and the back is high and wide and comfortable. The seat is slightly rounded to fit your butt comfortably, but not slopped or angled at all, so it is easy to sit and easy to get up. I gave it 4 stars only because the instructions were so bad. ... show more

I love this bar-height Adirondack chair. I like Adirondack chairs in general but my decrepit behind has a hard time getting out of them. This one is easier and more comfortable. It was simple enough to assemble and looks great. The wood grain poly will last much longer than real wood. My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I will say that after getting this I think I’m going to paint it a different color but that is personal preference and in no way takes away from the chair. Just want to go in a different direction color-wise That being said this chair is awesome!!! I love these high Adirondack chairs. I’m not even using it for a balcony but it is perfect. So easy to get out of when watching the kiddos by the pool. Exceptionally comfortable and is made of very durable materials. Price is a tad high but I love this thing that I may have to look into snagging another. Assembly was very straightforward and easier with a drill but otherwise can be done by just following directions. Can’t say how much I love this thing and you will too! ... show more

Overall, this is a great, well-made Adirondack chair. The assembly directions were easy to follow, and it only took about 30 min to assemble. The material is great and much more durable than wood and the included hardware seems to be higher quality and built to last. The chair itself is comfortable and would be perfect on a balcony or porch where you needed to see over a railing. I had thought it might be more in the middle height-wise giving someone a little more height, but it's almost like a mini-lifeguard chair. Overall though, I think this is a great chair and perfect if you need something taller but with the same look and feel of a more traditional chair. ... show more

I've had classic wooden Adirondack chairs for years and they're showing their age. This chair was appealing because of the weather resistant material it's made of, plus it's higher than classic chairs. The ad said it takes 30 minutes to assemble each chair and that's not far off.
