I've been buying this seasoning since 2019. The 2019 version of this seasoning smelled great. It was very flavorful. Since the small bottles were out of stock for the longest time, I bought a big bag of Frontier's Pizza Seasoning in 2021 and I was very disappointed. I threw the bag out. It just didn't smell or taste right. For a while I couldn't buy the small bottles of it until recently. I bought this small bottle a few weeks ago. While it smells and tastes better than the big bag version, it is not the same as what I recall buying in 2019. ... show more

This is exactly what I was looking for! I like to "doctor up" leftover pizza and frozen pizzas and this seasoning makes it perfect! It's the fennel!!! SO good! It's also good in tomato soup!

When I was a kid, back before all the fake stuff and chemicals we put in all food today, my mom used to buy simple little jar that was just labeled "Pizza seasoning" I used to put that stuff on everysingle pizza I ate, I even used to beg mom to buy me little frozen sausage pizzas from the store just to use the stuff. But then one day that company's products disappeared from stores, never to be seen again and pizza seasoning has never tasted the same since. It all just be oversalted, or oversweetened junk. Until I found this stuff, it tastes BETTER than the pizza spice from my childhood, I have to stop myself from using too much of it! I make rice pizza these days and mixing this stuff directly into the dough and then sprinkling some over the top of the finished product is HEAVEN. I have no clue what they mean by "non-irradiated" and if I shouldn't be worried that my other spices might be irradiated, but it clearly makes a MASSIVE difference in flavor. This really was a disappointment. Tastes like earnest health food....why is there celery flavoring in it?!?! And why isn't there more of a....well, PIZZA flavor?! I'm still looking, because this definitely isn't "The One."
