I'm a nursing student in the US. When I opened the box, it was just SO CUTE and PRETTY! The rose gold was not 'cheap rose gold'; rather, it was...gorgeous. I loved it. But, as you know, the quality is more important than the appearance- So I got to use it during my clinical for my physical assessment, and I definitely was able to hear lung sounds, heart sounds, and bowel sounds well while TV was on and family members were not too quite next to the patient! I loved it. Also I really liked it that it comes with lifetime warranty- if I don't lose it before it breaks. It seems and feels sturdy. The only reason why I gave 4 stars for light weight was because I was comparing it to the cheap disposable stethoscopes stocked at the hospital (that you can barely hear murmurs, you know). I absolutely love this stethoscope. What I love most about it is how light weight and comfortable it is around the neck. At first, I though it was a bit flimsy to me, but the material is good quality and light. The sound is great quality. I used it for manual blood pressure and heartbeats and I had no issue hearing what I needed to hear. The case is super nice and it comes with a pen light (no batteries included, need 2 AAA), extra earbuds, and a name tag for the stethoscope. The delivery took about a week which was not an issue for me particularly. Overall, a pretty good stethoscope and the design is nice (I have rose gold and white). Would recommend. ... show more

This stethoscope is very useful and practical for first-time use such as for a new nursing student. The case is very sturdy and fits fine in a backpack. I like that it comes with replacement ear buds and a replacement bell cover, as well as a pen-light. The stethoscope itself is no Littman quality as far as quality of sound goes, HOWEVER I think it's perfect for a student on a budget and learning new techniques. I bought this stethoscope about 2 years ago and after borrowing a colleagues Littman yesterday realized how terrible the sound is. It looks great but tubing is stiff. Could be age but it's just trash now.
