Got it for my Grandson for his Bday. He really likes it. Still have to get the bar and weights to complete it. Needs the two inch bar which is a little hard to find the one he wants but we will succeed.

The butterfly arms are pretty restrictive to your range of motion if you want to use the bench to...well... bench. That being said, they can be removed. The range of motion for curls or leg workouts is quite limited for taller individuals. I'm 6' 4" and I found them a little awkward and difficult (but not impossible). Would likely work better if you are shorter. Generally good build quality overall though. Definitely a beginners bench but not bad for the price. Their customer service was also very helpful in addressing my concerns. ... show more

Had a problem however the company has said they would make it right for me. I will update when it is resolved completely UPDATE: Company stood behind their product and took care of the problem. For the cost, this bench is very good. No, it is not as good or solid as what a real gym has to offer, but those benches are out of most people's budget for a home gym. For a home gym this bench set is good enough. It took me about an hour to put together, and included the tools needed to get it done. The ease of assembly is credited to the numbered and bagged screws and exploded instructions, but other than that, it's practically useless. Here's why it's useless, the suppose butterfly arm does not extend and move like what you would expect in a full range motion, but rather, it moves in a motion similiar to a preacher curl so you're basically doing preacher curls whilst in a lying position. Also, the position of the butterfly arm is right below where the weight plate would be lowered so it hinders your ability to do a bench press. Unless you're at an incline, to do a flat bench press, you would have to scoot your body down a foot on the already short bench. Lastly, the leg extension has a limited in range of motion and your feet against the padding is just an inch off the floor, which in my opinion is too close for comfort. My predicament is whether to return or settle for a partial refund and the way I see it, the seller is still making a profit with a partial refund. Let's consider that I'd paid $200 pre tax and a partial refund would amount to half at $100, that's still more than double their cost. So you see, these inferior products are sold knowing that most would settle for a partial refund. Anyway, I digress, just don't say you haven't been warned. ... show more
