I bought this for my grandson who wanted a hand puppet for his 10th birthday. I don't think he will be disappointed. This kitten is soft plush, the color is a beautiful golden/orange variegated tabby color and my large woman's hand fits in it snugly. My boyfriend's larger hand just fit but it didn't come to his wrist, it was a little short for his big hand. It is well made (I do alot of sewing) and the face is cute with clear whiskers. The mouth can be moved by putting your middle finger in the lower lip. The index and ring fingers can go in the fore-paws and the thumb and pinky fingers fit in the back paws. That way you can animate the kitten and make it seem like it is walking and talking. The body is a plush fur-like fabric and the pads of the paws and the ears are a smoother plush fabric.The plastic eyes are solid (not flimsy) and are golden with a large oval black center. The nose is a soft very lightly fuzzy fabric, firmly packed, with matching brown stitches going from the bottom center of the nose to the mouth. The tongue is the same soft fuzzy-like fabric in a pinkish brown and is softly stiffened (makes it easy to move the mouth). The kitten is lightly stuffed and fully lined with a soft creamy orange colored fabric. There is elastic encased at the base of the belly to help keep the kitten placed snugly at the wrist.The tail is curved upward and firmly stuffed. My 3yo son has been obsessed with cats for a few months now. Everytime we’d go to Barnes&Noble, he would beg us to get this puppet for him. Well I finally caved and bought him one off of Amazon and glad I did! He loves this thing and takes it everywhere. It’s well make and the puppet hole is big enough for an adult to put their hand in. Such a fun toy for our toddler! She loves cats so naturally we thought this could be a good way to have fun and maybe even have "kitty" teach her how to share, be kind, user manners etc. The puppet is decent quality, better than expected actually. The face was a little smushed upon arrival but that eventually worked out over time. It fit my hand fairly well (I'm a 5'4" female with slim hands), but really not my husbands. He is able to use it but not comfortably like I am. I noticed after much use from the both of us that the material is stretching out. Overall I would recommend this brand and I will probably purchase one for my nephew who loves playing with it whenever he's over. ... show more
