I bought this item as "brand new", however, it seems like it's an "opened box". The Amazon package was not damaged, but the Crayola box inside of it, was. This tape that was supposed to close the box wasn't sticky anymore, like it had been opened before. The booklet of papers is damatoo, even if it was supposed to be kept safe inside the Crayola tray. The tray itself is scratched and doesn't close properly and pops up. I was going to use that for traveling with my kid, and now I don't have time to return it and get a new one, so I'll stick with that one. Haven't used the mess free markers (which were still in the plastic wrap) or the stamps yet. I just give a 3 stars for how it looks like and how unfonctional it seems like it is. Will update later if I have more trouble using the markers and stamps. Definitely not giftable. If it's to get a used product, I'd suggest buying a "used one" directly. At least you'd save some money. ... show more

The item description is not accurate. It says multiple times in the title and throughout the description 18 coloring pages when in fact there are only 12. And it does not come with markers like every other color wonder set we have purchased for the same price. No, it does not state that it has markers and that’s my fault for not seeing that but every other set we have bought has come with 4-6 markers for this same price point. I wanted to love this art set. I bought two, one for my two and four year old. Pros: I love that everything fits inside the kit so it can be easily stored. I like the way markers are displayed. It reminds them to put the lids on and keeps us from losing them. Theoretically would work well for travel. No mess and all pieces are fairly secured onto the kit. Cons: the kit could be deeper to accommodate more storage. We have additional markers and color wonder coloring books (which you will need since you only get a few sheets with this set) and you can’t really fit too much more than what comes with the set inside the case. The stamp. UGH. Again, I wanted to love it, but even when I tried to get the stamp to work I could barely do it. The kids could never get more than 1/2 of the stamp at best making it impossible to see the animal or use it as a stencil to color in. Why wouldn’t the paper clip onto the kit? Everything else is well suited for travel, but the paper just falls off when they’re in the car and then there’s a meltdown. Overall it’s fine. Good for travel I suppose, but as a primary art kit, leaves much to be desired. ... show more

I love all of the color wonder stuff. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, however to our surprise it did not come with the 15 page coloring pad. Lucky for her we have color wonder coloring books already. It was still a let down though. Everything else was great!
