I bought this for the kids I babysit and let me just say this lasted for over three months. The clay was all in individual packages and the box even came with tiny ziploc bags so you can put the left over clay in there to reuse it. The little mat that came with it was small maybe about 8 inches long but it was nice for the kids to put down on the table so it didn’t get ruined. The only thing with the clay was that if it was sitting in the package for a while it gets like a liquidy look and feel. But once you open the package and you start to play with it that’s goes away. My stepdaughter LOVED this kit and used all of the clay in it. But it didn't come with the tools, just the cookie cutters and rolling pin. So we had to get creative to find alternatives.

We homeschool and have used every kind of air dry clay there is. This set is THE BEST and priced the very best!! We bought 3 sets and we were not disappointed!! We have made necklaces, magnets, poop (haha), animals, bugs, bracelets, and we still have a ton of clay left in our 1st set! This stuff is endless fun! The accessories that come with this set are amazing. My kids have sat and played with this set for hours on end and their imaginations just run wild. The girls loved all the bright colors, the work mat, roller, cutting tools. The embellishments were a hit too. . The idea was that they could have several hours of fun, but the pressure of having to "work fast" so that the clay wouldn't dry out kind of took some of the easy fun out of the craft. It dries fast (minutes) & loses it's elasticity very quickly. That said, the 8 yr old persisted & was able to make the cutest hamburger & fries. The price was very good. Conclusion: If we do more clay art, we'll probably choose the baking kind-hopefully it will be more malleable for a lot longer time. ... show more
