Overall, I am mixed about this chair. On the plus side, the color is pleasant--it really looks like weathered/aged natural wood. Assembly was pretty reasonable--my 23 yo son helped, and we did it in about 30 minutes. We opted to not use the included cup holder since that looked more "fake" to me and I felt it would work to just have my beverage on the flat arm rests. I also like that the footrest portion slides under the seat so it is out of the way when not using. This really helps on a small porch. The comfort was better than expected. I'm 5' 5" and it fits me great--veryy comfy. My 5' 10" partner also found it pretty comfy except where his spine hits that back of the chair. Drawbacks: it does feel like plastic, so if you really want wood feel, get real wood. I'm also a little concerned the plastic may scratch up and show the scratches, particularly the footrest, since that seems to rub as it's being tucked away under the chair and pulled back out. Build quality is on par with much more expensive composite versions I have found. A bit if assembly but easy enough. Comfortabke to sit in fir sometime, angle is like other Adirondack chairs so no surprises there. Lobe the added foot rest and it tucks aways when not in use. Well worth the purchase price I will be getting a second for my fitness porch to match ... show more

Easy to assemble chair, nicely folds up, nice cupholder, great material. It seems a little wobbly, guessing because it folds up as the arms move back and forth even when tightened. Will have to see how it survives a season of use.

This is a pretty neat chair, it is easy to put together and I like the color of it. It seems like good quality and it seems very stable when I sit on it. I also really like the concept of the retractable foot rest but it does get caught sometimes and it can be a little tricky to get in and out.

What a GORGEOUS Adirondack chair!! My husband put this together relatively quickly and said it wasn't difficult at all. The chair is a beautiful color and is made of high quality material. The ottoman portion can slide out or back very easily, which is a really great idea! It has been in my yard through rain and sun and kamikaze acorns/sticks and all sorts of wind and it's doing great, haha! It's a beautiful chair that is extremely giftable to yourself or someone you really like. I believe that it will really make an impression on someone because it is so nice. I love to relax on it while my dogs are running around like lunatics. I've never seen an Adirondack chair with a cup holder so this is kind of a cool idea to have one. It is better for fitting cans or Solo cups, not so much a mug or anything like that, but I still think it's a great idea. If you're looking for a great gift for someone that spends a lot of time outside in their yard, this could be perfect! ... show more

This folding Adirondack chair with ottoman is a fantastic addition to my firepit area! This chair is heavy and sturdy. Assembly was easier than most of the other Adirondack chairs I’ve put together in the past. The ottoman and seat come preassembled, so you only need to add the arms and back of the chair! The screw/bolt holes all lined up easily, and I was able to assemble this within 30 minutes with the included tools. I like that the chair folds up, but it doesn’t fold flat, so I feel it only helps to move it around. I built this inside, folded it, and carried it to the firepit. Did I mention it’s heavy? While I’m small and it’s a bit heavy for me, this gives me comfort that the wind won’t be able to blow it away. The gray is the perfect shade of gray, and the chair looks very nice next to the fire. I love that the ottoman is easy to pull out, and just as easy to store back under the chair. Overall, this chair is solid, comfortable, heavy, and a great addition to the porch or yard. I am so in LOVE with this Adirondack chair. No kidding, it's really incredible. As a warning, when you get the box, it's quite heavy. But when you put it together, which was really easy, you will see why. It's very durable and heavy-duty. I have no doubt in my mind this will last many years. On top of that, I can not overstate how comfortable it is. It's particularly nice that I can fold it up if I want to put it away or transport it, but I really like it right where it is. The cup holder is a nice bonus because when you sit in this, you won't want to get up for a while, so bring a beverage! The best feature, aside from durability and comfort, is how the footstool stows away in the seat with little to no effort. This chair is perfect - 100 stars if I could!!! ... show more

I am pleased and impressed with this chair. I love that the footrest slides in and out from under the seat. What a great idea! I also like the drink holder that swivels from under the arm rest (and out of the way). That's a nice bonus. When I ordered this chair I was concerned that it might not be large enough. I'm not fat but I am 6'4", 215 lbs. and this chair fits me just fine. Also, it is heavy, solid and well-constructed. I'm pretty sure this thing will last for many years. My only regret is that it's now autumn and so I won't be able to use it much before winter sets in and then I'll have to wait until next spring and summer to enjoy it again. Oh, well... BTW, assembly was not difficult at all. I put this together by myself in about and hour, maybe a little less. I definitely recommend this innovative Adirondack-style chair! ... show more
