This litterbox is a huge improvement over open trays. Our cat only uses the top opening and when he leaves, most litter goes back into the box through the grate. 90 percent reduction in tracking. A few minor things to know - reaching in through the top to scoop out waste (especially from corners) takes a bit of maneuvering especially if you're a big guy. I'm pretty small and I still have to twist my arm around to get the edges. My only other minor thing is that there are little slots and openings on the inside where the top and the bottom attach. Litter gets stuck in there and if you have a high-pee-er, it might leak between the seams. It hasn't been an issue for us. Overall, I completely recommend this! Plus it's cute! ... show more

Cats love it! It is Huge and easy to fill and clean!! Hope Both my cats use it! But!!!! As I put together another I bought I realized this one was missing two pieces (pictured) and now it’s broken and leaks within first 2 months of use☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

I'm a very new cat owner of two. I bought the litter that clumps in odor so it wouldn't be a big issue for my small apartment. It's very cute and accessible to kittens, the scoop is great! I really wish it kept in scent more. I feel like it doesn't do the greatest job keeping in the yucky smell of the waste, even with the door in place. But otherwise, really great for a starter litter box, especially with kittens! ... show more

    • Good box, but injured my cat

This box injured my cat, her toes got caught in the slats on the top and she fell in the hole with her leg caught and bending around the opening. I had to grab her to get her out and free her toes. Luckily the vet said her leg is ok, but it cost me a vet visit and an urgentcare visit because of a couple cat bites. Other than that it is good, the drawer is smooth, it's nice and large for my big cats and sturdy enough. One other thing is is there is a lip around the drawer that collects pee if they urinate close to the sides ... show more

I bought it a while ago and really want to write a review right now. So I was struggling with litter all over my bathroom and I was vacuuming every day when I used opened litter box, I even bought a mat to put around but it didn’t work out for me… but right now this issue resolved, omg , I’m so happy I bought this closed litter box! First it is very easy to assemble, it is very easy to clean , so when my cats(I have 2) get out from the box from the above they land on top of the box and all litter from their paws fall back to the litter box , isn’t it genius?😄😄 I even removed the mat , because I don’t need it anymore! the best purchase! And my cats love it!! Also because it is closed it looks very clean overall in the bathroom, which is important for me ... show more

    • It starts out nice, but gets really gross and smelly after 3 months.

Let me start with the pros: - 2 entrances, convenient - sliding tray is convenient for cleaning and scooping the litter - looks cute (?) CONS (and why I'm getting rid of this after 4 months of use, and after the return window is sadly closed): - since it's a foldable design, there are a TON of little ridges that collect dirty pee litter that then clumps inside of those.. It's impossible to clean those out out, even with a toothbrush or Qtips (yes we tried). No matter how much we cleaned, the litter box kept smelling badly because of this. - If your cat is only slightly part of the horizontal pee'er team, their pee will leak through the seams and will drop on the floor. You might not notice at first, but you will smell it eventually. Not fun. - The front "door" hinges are too low, making it uncomfortable for (even) kittens to enter. She just ended up entering from the top instead. We opted for a no-seam, two-part, single-top entry bucket design to prevent this from happening again. Now I know why our friends haven't visited us anymore for the last couple of weeks ... show more
