Inspired by the superior features of the original model, version two (V2) has improved mechanical and structural features that will enhance air performance and decrease assembly time.The fiber pipe greatly enhances the wing strength for enhanced flying maneuvers. Improved main wing set and landing gear installation optimizes strength of structure and reduces assembly time. The latest 64mm ducted fan can achieve more than 800 grams of thrust. The differences in speeds between the V1 and V2 will be noticeable. Amazing plane. NOT FOR BEGINNERS! Adequate RC knowledge needed. Previous EDF experience highly recommended. 3S is just not enough power, I run a 4s. Evelavtor is extra sensitive, don't forget to adjust the angle of degree for the elevator when setting up your receiver as instructed in the manual or you will probably crash. The plane flys very nicely and looks extremely beautiful. Compared to my eflite F15, it flys faster due to the KV3900 (f35) vs a 3150 (f15). Overall an amazing plane, highly recommend this one, purchased it instead of the Freewing F22 and I do not regret it at all ... show more

Looks fast and needs a long runway for the factory specified battery used (3S 11.1V 2200mAh) I dropped a 4S 22mAh in and it takes off by hand launch just fine. Hopefully by not staying at full throttle alot the ESC will hold up...so far so good

I have flown lots of Freewing 64mm EDF’s. They were hard to launch and unpredictable to fly. From a paved runway, this plane shines! It’s very fast, very maneuverable and quite durable. I still use a 3S 2200 to fly it with and I like the light weight of it. It is more agile than my F-22 and the gear has held up to more landings. FMS makes a great product! ... show more
