I purchased these lights in august 2022 and the control box went out in December--reason for the 3 star on weather proof. I donʻt know if weather was the cause. Regardless, I contacted the company right away and received a new control box in a matter of days. The company is very responsive and values customer satisfaction. The lights are amazing. We had outdoor lights before, and bulbs were not replaceable. If a bulb went out, you had to replace the entire string of lights. These lights are fun and colorful-- and shatterproof! ... show more

They lights are really cool and I loved all the options with the remote. With that being said I waited a season so I could give a solid review and just like I read from others these lights stopped working. Despite the reviews I took a chance and only after a few months of use they no longer work. I'm not able to contact the seller for some reason to get a replacement. I bought these in Sept for the camper but never used them before I put it away for the winter, (MN). I did install them outside and have used them all winter. We have has -20 F and rain this winter and they still work. I like the color and pattern options.

I'm not tech savvy and these lights were so simple. You plug them in, choose the music option on the remote and play any music from anywhere and the lights react to them. The only thing I'm a little afraid of is the remote going bad. It hasn't happened yet but if the remote goes bad, there's no option to change the lights movements. It will just be at a standard when it's plugged in. I can't wait to try them out when my Christmas lights go up in December. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I looked for something like this FOREVER. They get buried by all the cheap rolls of self adhesive led lights when you search for them. Those rolls of led lights might be great for under the counter or bed but they look like crap strung from the ceiling. These are perfect. They are decorative and will look ‘pretty’ in my daughters bedroom. And the power cord is extra long - so much better than every other one I’ve seen or bought. They come with what appears to be an rf remote - no need to ‘point’ the remote at the lights to get it to work. I must say these are the best lights I’ve seen - I think I’m going to buy a set for my camper next. My only complaint is ‘strobe’ is not really a strobe function. You can get a good strobe function with it set to music but my daughter wanted the old fashion disco strobe effect and this doesn’t appear to do that when set to strobe. It’s not even a big enough deal to warrant removing part of a star - these things appear to be 5 star all the way. They come with an extra bulb but if they are as strong as the appear to be you might not need it. I’m going to wrap them up and put them under the tree now - I’ll update my review if we have any issues with longevity. ... show more
