  • Bearded Dragon CRACK & I'm the new El Chapo of Dragon World BABY!
Flavor Name: Grass Hoppers
Me: "So I'm not sure how I can TRULY rate the Scent or the Flavor?" Amazon: "You haven't tried the product?" Me: "Um...no." Amazon: "Oh well you simply try product and let us know how you feel, then you complete your review. Is there anything else we can help you with?" Me: "Are you serious right now? Are you looking at my order & what the product even is?" Amazon: "Uh, let's see it's order# $%^@#% yes ma'am, you did receive right?" Me: "wow" click LOL I'm kidding, Amazon did NOT ask me to eat the grasshoppers! I have NO problem reviewing crap for Amazon, however, I draw the line at eating grasshoppers. I will, however, let you know that Cherry (my daughter's bearded dragon) apparently thinks that now that El Chapo is in prison, I'm the new slinger of all things desired and using my powers to do so only to her! I mean the first day we opened the can & put them into her "rock bowl" (no pun intended) she lept on that plastic thing like that fat kid slurping melted chocolate in Willie Wonka's factory. I mean I barely had time to escape her jaws and lift the can out of the aquarium before she mistook my finger for one of the meaty molted insects. They honestly must be GREAT for her too, before we started her on the grasshoppers ONLY we were doing the crickets in a can and her ribs were showing, her skin was a little loose, she looked terrible, almost like an orphan dragon but now she is MASSIVE and I mean HUGE, FAT, HAPPY, FILLED OUT, AND FULL OF ENERGY! ALSO, the store down the street was charging literally almost TWO DOLLARS a darn can for the cricket version of these, now we're giving almost 1/2 of that and it's delivered. Sometimes you can't beat Amazon! I can't grow crickets, breed them, whatever it's called, I've tried, they all die, I've tried twice, and yeah the food for them is more expensive than these cans, and she's pretty darn happy without me having to deal with that hot mess of growing crickets. I'll sling these bad boys to my beardie all day! ... show more

  • Great solution for leopard geckos
Flavor Name: Meal Worms
My female leopard gecko “Dina” is 5 years old. When she was younger she was hunting for crickets and was very successful. As time passes she stopped running after them and I started feeding only Live mealworms. To be honest I tried everything from my local pet shops but mealworm was the only food she was taking. I also tried the dry mealworms but no. Since the Covid19 started it was difficult to find live healthy mealworms at the store. I also could find small numbers to order online. Do not want to order 250 or 500 at one. Had bad experience with it. So I tried this canned food. The first can, despite I kept refrigerated, did not last long and I had to trash half of it. Then for the second can I separated the whole can into 6-7 mealworms and kept them at -20. Omg! That’s it. I thaw a batch warm them and she is eating everything. Only problem is that I have to feed her one by one and also have to shake it a little to mimic a live worm :) She is happy I am happy. Highly recommended ... show more

  • Great for Bearded Dragons
Flavor Name: Soldier Worms
First of all, not all bearded dragons can be fed anything but live food. It takes time and a lot of patience for some to switch. But, it's totally worth it! Our bearded dragons love these canned soldier worms. We got off of live insects because they can cause allergies, carry parasites, and can bite the beardies. We did use the canned crickets while the beardies were small, but once they were large enough to eat these worms, we introduced them. One beardie took to them immediately devouring them. The other took a couple of days to get used to eating them. But, now eats all that are placed in the dish. If you need to get away from live feeders, these worms are a great option. We do freeze them between feeding after opening. I'm sure you can refrigerate them. But, I have no idea how long they last that way. ... show more

  • Gourmet grasshoppers lol
Flavor Name: Grass Hoppers
The media could not be loaded. My tiger salamander usually only eats live bugs but since its winter and I can not find them outside, he gets this gourmet treat to supplement his diet. The grasshoppers are about 1 inch long and red. I was kinda surprised they were not green/tan but he didn't mind. He took one right away and ate the entire thing. He spits out dried mealworms so this was a nice change of pace. His normal food is anything I can find around the house like crickets, earthworms, water bugs, grasshoppers or even red worms from my compost but I did not do an indoor worm farm this year so I ordered grasshoppers on Amazon. I like that it's a small portion and comes with a plastic lid. The metal top peels back. Apparently there is a smell to them because my dogs were RIGHT THERE after I opened it but due to the flu, I smelled nothing. Probably a good thing. Great product. I ordered another Fluker's product to test on my salamander. ... show more

  • The review nobody wanted on Fluker's grasshoppers.
Flavor Name: Grass Hoppers
Had to. I came across this item while browsing and read the comments. Sounded good but a bit lopsided. I mean, all the comments were about feeding the grasshoppers to lizards. So... of course I had to order a coupe of cans and see. Yep, you guessed it, I ordered them and I ate them. They're canned fresh and sealed well enough that they arrived in good condition. The aroma was sort of nutty with a trace of rotted wood. Out of the can they were rather nutmeggy - ish. Not great but not overbearing either. But to enjoy them, fry them in butter with a sprinkling of garlic salt. Just a touch. Pretty good and they take on a crisper texture and roasted flavor. I'm gonna guess that this is the only gourmet review you'll see where the review was the consumer but... Someone had to do it. ... show more

  • Make sure you put them in the fridge after opening
Flavor Name: Meal Worms
My hedgehog loves these. They are really “juicy”. Just make sure to put them in the fridge after you open them!!! I didn’t so they went bad. But I bought more because my hedgehog loves them!

  • As described!
Flavor Name: River Shrimp
The media could not be loaded. First time but so wasn't sure what to expect. They definitely had a smell when I opened them. Not a bad smell like rotting. Just what you could expect from opening canned shrimp. These are sealed with a pull tab top and there's a plastic lid to put in the fridge. Definitely not sure on flavor because it's fish food and yeah I'm not doing that! ... show more
