Description

The Mojave Reptile Lounge features front sliding, glass doors for easy access and cleaning, a large, mesh screen top to accommodate most UV and heat lamp set-ups and vented side panels for optimal ventilation. This reptile lounge habitat unit is made with ECOFLEX®, a proprietary composite blend of recycled polymers and reclaimed wood fiber by products that make up a durable and moisture resistant material. ECOFLEX® is easy to clean and does not retain odor. This unit is not watertight and should not be used for animals that need to have standing water in their enclosures. The top of the unit is wire mesh and intended to support heat and UV lamps. Customers can place heat/UV lamps on the wire portion of the top of the unit. Heat lamps SHOULD NOT touch the ECOFLEX material please refer to assembly instructions. Great for indoor or outdoor use. A habitat made for tortoises, arachnids, chameleons, scorpions, hermit crabs, hamsters, guinea pigs, small rabbits. This is an excellent enclosure assembles easy and seems very sturdy. There are a few issues with using it for a bll python that you should consider. Theee is no way to get heat through the bottom of the enclosure so if your snake hides all day they will be to cold. You will know if they refuse food, and develop respiratory issues like bubbles around the mouth it is a sign they are not warm enough, or the humidity is to low. I over came this in two ways. 1. Placed an extra zoo med heat mat on the side of the enclosure just opposite her plastic hide. I then cut the back off of the hide so that the wall of the enclosure was directly in contact with the inside of the hide. This allowed heat to increase in the hide. 2. For the humidity the screen on top is great for a bearded Dragon but lets to much moisture out for a ball. I used Gorilla tape which has a working temp rage of up to 200F to cover the screen about 90%. This helped keep the moisture in and even helped with mainting the cool side up a few more degrees since it was competing with the ambient temp air in the house. I highly recommend this enclosure, even with its quirks it is still a great buy fir the cost. ... show more

    • Great enclosure for a bearded dragon

I purchased this enclosure for an 8-month-old bearded dragon I was fostering, and it turned out to be perfect! I already own the smaller version of this enclosure for traveling with my own bearded dragon, and since it’s served me so well, I thought the larger size would be ideal for my foster—and I was right. Assembly was a breeze, and it’s lightweight enough to move easily, especially if you remove the doors first. The clean, modern design is a nice touch, and the enclosure offers plenty of space for a young dragon to run around and explore. My foster absolutely loved it! The only drawback is the lack of a cord access cutout in the back, which would make it easier to place lights inside. Without it, you’ll need to cut a hole in the screen top to run cords through, which is a bit inconvenient. That said, aside from this one minor flaw, it’s a fantastic enclosure and a great option for bearded dragons! ... show more

The enclosure looks very nice. Because I built it I notice all the little details that look cheap, but someone looking at it wouldn't notice these details. It's all plastic screws holding together the walls, but as a result is very simple to assemble. The viewing window/doors are real glass and are very thick. The locking mechanism is very effective without being difficult to use. I've assembled two of these so far and have learned to appreciate what you get for the money even if the pvc material and parts are a bit hacky and cheap. It took me less than 20 minutes to assemble the second one I've bought. I recommend this enclosure but don't expect too much. Works great as an enclosure. My snakes are enjoying the space, and I'm not bothered by a shabby looking enclosure. (Forgive the dirty glass in the second photo). ... show more

Super easy to assemble. Took about 20 min by myself. Looks good. Feels solid enough. Came with no damage even though the box was kinda beat up a little. It should be plenty big enough for our bearded dragon. The screen top feels pretty sturdy. The sliding doors are actual glass. The locking mechanism should be plenty sufficient as long as you don't lose it. Seems like a good enclosure for a variety of different dry or low moisture reptiles. My only concerns/complaints would be the supplied screws. They do the job but are made of plastic, so they could potentially be a weak point eventually. All went in and tightened down fairly well except 1 that stripped, but I don't think it will be to bad because of where it is. It will also need to be sealed along all the inner edges if you plan to put any substrate like sand or dirt. It just doesn't seal completely on its own. Not really a problem though. It's a cheap and easy fix. Overall a pretty good enclosure for the price. Feels solid enough to last once it's set up. Would recommend for anyone needing a bigger enclosure on a tighter budget. ... show more
