UPDATE: I ended up writing directly to the company because I couldn't get a refund on this product. They sent us a brand new bag, which was perfectly fresh and delicious. Thank you, Floresta em Pe, for taking such good care of us. I ordered these brazil nuts two days ago, and opened the package to have a couple tonight. The nuts taste like they're on the edge of rancidity. There's no expiration date on the bag, but I had expected to get a good product that didn't taste old. Incredibly disappointed. ... show more

I have been eating Brazil nuts for years, and I've tried MANY brands -- how I missed this one, I don't know. The taste of these is truly exquisite -- slightly sweet, even -- and the crunch is perfect. These are a standout... I won't be trying anymore brands, as these are a keeper! :)

90% of the nuts are delicious. I do stumble across some that taste old/rancid. The ziplock feature on the bag is very strong, however it is also stronger than the glue used to secure it to the bag. This means the glue fails sometimes, preventing the bag from resealing
