  • best purchase ever
i am so scared of wasps/bees and i mean like terrified. yes its unrealistic but i do love the outdoors and being outside.. But as soon as i hear a buzz i flee the scene. well with this thingp that has all changed! it’s big enough to lay in comfortably. some ants were able to get through the bottom but that’s the least of my concern. the scary wasps were bouncing off as i was safe and sound inside of my little tent. super easy set up as it literally just pops up. the breakdown was easy as well, just takes a little wiggling. zippers are good, nice and breathable. spacious and awesome! 10/10 i highly recommend!!! ... show more

  • Works Well - With a Few "Bugs"
After waking up with 18 bites, I tried a repellent but I couldn't fall asleep because I couldn't stand the smell. I looked into mosquito nets & decided on this one because I didn't want to drill a hole in the ceiling, then climb up a ladder to take it down. This net works very well, but the instructions could have been more detailed & that would have saved me frustration. When I finally got the net set up the first time, I didn't like it. The frame didn't reach all the way to the end of the bed - it stopped short a couple of inches on the front and back. After crawling to the front of the bed to get out, I decided to turn the net around & realized it fit great that way & the two zippered exits were on the sides of the net where they should be. For us "mechanically challenged" people, that should probably be included in the instructions. I was able to get some sleep the second night. When it's hot, I sleep with a fan running on "Low." I had concerns about the net blocking air from getting to me, but that concern wasn't needed; the air got to me almost as if there was no net. I recommend using a night light in case you need to get out of bed in the middle of the night (like most of us older guys). A few minor cons: The bottom netting (that you normally sleep on) is a little rough on the skin, but tonight I'm going to put a sheet over it & I think it will be perfect. The instructions say it can be cut off, but I wouldn't do that because it may leave small openings where insects could get in. It's difficult to find the zippers in complete darkness. I'm going to attach a lanyard on the zippers to make them easier to grab. Perhaps they should also be included - maybe ones that glow in the dark. Or Velcro closures with pull tabs would be easier & more durable than zippers. The frames should be more "springy." Mine don't open without help. The net does stay open, however. A very good product, well worth the money if it holds up to repeated use. ... show more

  • Great to keep pets off bed
This doesn’t go underneath your mattress!! Since it’s a tent with a mesh bottom. I was disappointed to see that it’s really difficult to get your mattress inside of the tent, instead it sat on top of my fitted sheet and I had to put the top sheet on top of the mesh bottom. It got really annoying trying to make the bed and with night time movement sometimes I would touch the mesh while sleeping which was really annoying. Setting up was easy and putting away took like 3 tries, but it comes with a sheet with detailed instructions on how to put it away. The reason I got this wasn’t for mosquitos but my pet rabbit. I didn’t want him jumping on my bed anymore so I got this as a temporary fix and it worked great. ... show more

  • Great Idea for Outdoor Use!
I bought this to use outside because I became a buffet one night while sitting by a lake and decided enough was enough! I did extensive research and purchased this. It’s exactly as described...easy to put up, very fine mosquito netting and light weight to carry. Recognizing it was originally designed for bed use, there are a few suggestions I would love to see to make it even better/more versatile for outdoor use: 1. Either make the floor a solid, durable fabric so it won’t rip outdoors on grass or sand...or add a removable tarp attachment for the bottom that would serve that purpose that can be clipped on in some way. 2. Add some way to stake it out so it maintains its shape and stays in place on grass or sand... or maybe add a lightweight, removable frame (maybe like the poles that give it shape now) that snaps together and can be placed around the inner perimeter to frame out the bottom. I find it moves and becomes smaller without something to hold it in place which makes it difficult to keep the netting off my head or feet when sitting in my lounger chair. It would also help keep the netting from bunching up and tearing on the bottom. 3. Make the shape more square at the top for ease of movement inside. Please don’t let these suggestions keep you from purchasing this if you think it will work for you. It can be used exactly as is. I’m going to lay a tarp under it and a blanket inside it to protect the bottom from tearing. I’ll also figure out something to frame out the bottom or put some thing heavy in each corner and that will resolve my concerns. It would just be nice not to have to when they are pretty easy fixes and would add so much value & versatility to the product. ... show more

  • Tanning tent!!
I feel like I should patent this idea it’s so good. I love to lay out and tan occasionally but I don’t have a pool and I hate flying insects. If I hear a buzz, I immediately retreat indoors. This mosquito tent solved all my problems. It is large enough to hold an inflatable tanning float, and it’s transparent enough to catch some rays while being protected from pesky bugs that are trying to ruin my vibe. I lay out now without a care in the world. Sheer genius!!!! ... show more
