This lamp really turned out nice with having a very sturdy base, however the lamp shade is a little different. Not quite what we see in traditional floor lamp shades. It comes rolled up but does roll out nicely and the wire wire attaches to the light bulb and then the clips on the lamp shade attach to the clips on the shade. The shade has velcro on each end to hold the circle closure of the shade. The shade is fine for the extra bedroom but if in a family room, I would probably buy another shade. The romote was easy to assemble to pair with the lamp and works great. All in all for the price purchase, I think it is a fantastic product! Amazon did it great again!! I bought this lamp because I liked that it had a remote and you can control the brightness. A few weeks after purchase my remote stopped working. I changed the batteries, and tried everything and still not working. I contacted the seller but to this day, I got no response. I would not purchase this lamp if you want a remote lamp, look for other sellers. Not worth the money I paid. Poor customer service!🤨 ... show more

    • Honestly, buying this was a pretty BRIGHT idea.
I had been looking for a standing light for a month or two when this one caught my eye. I bought it after contemplating for a week and I’m glad! I was shocked how cool the remote control aspect was. I’m not sure if it follows the light bulb or the lamp. We shall see. Overall the lamp is bright, convenient, easy to put together and even ascetically pleasing. The only down is that the knob is not attached to the light switch and it falls off, and also the bulb looked lightly used when I took it out of the box. Other than that, it genuinely is super convenient and pretty good quality. The base is heavy so it doesn’t tip, the shade is collapsible and thick so it compliments the different light shades and I was just pretty impressed by all the light modes! I like it much more than even I thought that I would. It came in a flat box! I was a little nervous about the shade at that point. But the packaging was ingenious in placement and compressed packaging, and well protected as well. It came out without a mark. You only have to do two thing, put the post together and we've all done that on any number of lamps so that was easy. The shade - unbelievable. It was flat. It was in two material pieces plus the frame. It took maybe five minutes with fumble fingers here to put it together. Then I got to play with the lighting. I am very happy. It looks great in my living room. I'm even thinking of one perhaps for the bedroom. ... show more

    • Great 1st 30-60 days, then bulbs and remotes died and can't be fixed.
Great the 1st 30-60 days. Ordered 1 then my 2nd 30 days later. Then remote quit operating mine in bedroom then 2 days later one in Liv room stopped working. Called support. They said they believe it's the bulbs I. These from China. After a lil while the bulbs stop responding to remote. Won't dim or anything anymore. Won't turn on or off remote won't work with either anymore. Support tried to look up replacement bulb numbers but china did not supply info on the correct bulbs for these lamps. They suggested one type of bulb that may fix all. So we went to Lowe's and purchased high dollar new bulbs under bulb number they assumed might work. We had to travel 50 miles to closet town to buy more bulbs. Bulbs didn't work with these lamps. Apparently acc. To support it's a China thing. Lamps made in China. I really did love these. But the bulbs fail quickly and china furnished no information as to which bulb can be used as replacement I. Their lamps. Perhaps their bulbs are in hina only and that's why noone can seem to find the china bulbs required. It was a mess. I really loved these so much. Was so happy for a month or two. Got to return one within the 30 day mark. The other lamp went out just after the 30 day mark, so I'm stuck with it. Gotta haul the other lamp I purchased, that went out just after the 30 days were up, to the dump. Disappointing. ... show more

    • Excellent floor lamp
This lamp is very good and it's inexpensive compared to similar looking lamps. In requires very simple assembly. No tools required, just screw a few pieces together and attach the lampshade. The base is heavy enough to be quite steady. It has a remote to turn on or off or dim. Batteries are included. The lamp came with a light bulb that was far too weak. I replaced it with a GE Refresh HD 75w. It was perfect. The lamp is in my family room next to a recliner. Good for reading or dim it to watch TV. Highly recommended. ... show more

The whole reason we bought this lamp was for the dimming purposes. They’re only way to dim the lamp is through the remote remote lights up showing me it has power, but it does not connect to the lamp anymore. This is January 2024 and I bought it in March 1923 pieces of crap. There’s no way for me to return or exchange or even contact the seller since I’ve missed the window to return.
