With this hose at the end I have plenty of hose to water my plants without having to drag the heavy hose. The woven cover slides over the ground easily without snagging or getting stuck. The connectors went on my spigot/tip very easily, twisting without metal on metal resistance or using the wrench I had on hand to remove the old hose. I wish it was longer, I thought I estimated 25ft range more accurately but I will probably have to connect a second one to this one. ... show more

got rid of the green monster hose ive had fr years & wanted something that was more flexible. this appeared to fit the bill & it did. flexible but strong enough to drag around the yard. good brass fittings at each end give a tight seal. no leaks so far. will see how this holds up & performs over the season & if there are any issues that show up I will update this, otherwise I do recommend it. 25 feet of maneuverable hose for less than $25. good deal. ... show more

This hose has an intolerable stink. Very strong. I planned on using it in my basement for an emergency backup drain setup. It smelled so bad it stunk up the entire basement strongly.     • A nice lightweight hose for porch and potted plant watering - nice in the right application
I admit on the front end that I had some misgivings about this hose. The promise of "light" and "flexible" sounded like a lot of marketing hype. In this case - they manufacturer was short on hype and long on delivering the goods! This hose is pretty great! I have at least five dedicated hoses on my property, mostly 50' and 75' 3/4" i.d. American made hoses. I'm talking REAL hoses, not cheapo junk. I put my hoses through a lot of work, but if you know anything about a true 3/4" rubber hose, you know that they are heavy. Heavy to coil, heavy to drag around, and they have to be handled right or they will kink. Of course the payoff is a massive amount of water flow. That's why I prefer 3/4" hose. That said, I had one location where a 50' x 3/4 hose was just plain overkill. I would never need more than 25' at this location, and I needed something that would hang without tangling and not weigh a ton when full, so my wife could spray off the patio. This little gem was perfect for that spot. I'm impressed with the very durable exterior covering. It is a kind of nylon mesh coating reminiscent of the kinds of protective outer cover that automobile hoses sometimes use. It is tough and prevents routine abuse of the hose. It is also lightweight. Best of all it has ZERO memory. Even when cool, the hose lays flat, doesn't hold "memorized loops" in its shape, and generally just handles very easily. I'm really thrilled at that part. Even though the hose is a bit smaller diamter, in my application the slightly reduced waterflow is inconsequential, especially compared to the massively easier and less tangly reality of a 25' hose of this design. While I probably wouldn't want this hose in 50 or 75' versions, for a 25' optimized location it is quite satisfactory. Five stars - highly recommended if used in the right place. This appears to be a very durable, truly lightweight, non-kinking and no "cold weather" memory garden hose. After use, it coils clean and easy and of course has no leaks at either end, thanks to the quality brass fittings, which are standard 3/4" GHT (male/female, as usual) Very satisfied. ... show more

This hose is light and fairly compact as compared to a standard hose which will make it convenient to take with me when I may need a hose away from home. The ends seem solid and it does not leak.
