    • Versatile and just a wonderful product
we had a small leak from one of the joints underneath our kitchen sink. i'd tried everything else to stop it including the spray flex seal but nothing worked. we live too far out to call in a plumber for little things like that, a three hour round trip for our plumber so very costly. this paste was my final option and i crossed my fingers it'd work out. the paste has a rubber texture but is very easy to apply. i placed it all around the drain connection and allowed it a full day to dry. the next day we tested it and no more leak! it has been two weeks since that repair was made and still dry as a bone. i had some material left and wanted to make use of it. one of the kids years ago knocked a hole about baseball size in the closet wall. i thought it couldn't hurt to give this a try to repair that. i placed a drywall repair screen over the hole and then proceeded to apply this over the top of that. it was easy to smooth out with a plastic knife set. i let that dry a full day too. the end result was a perfectly flat, stable white surface. the paint i applied went on well, no problems at all. after all this time the hole between the attic and the closet is no more and looks as good as it did before. one thing to keep in mind is that once opened this material dries up and begins to harden very quickly. even though i sealed the tub almost immediately, when i opened it up again a few hours later i had a thick 'ring' of hardened rubber already forming around the inner sides. knowing that i would suggest to anyone using this to use it up quickly once opened. it's just the nature of the chemical mix that when open even if sealed well it isn't something that has much of a shelf life. this is extremely versatile material only limited in what you can do with it by your imagination so to speak. i am thrilled with the results i got and have ordered another tub to keep on hand for future use. i'd recommend this without reservations to anyone based on my experiences with it. ... show more

    • Buy the big 3lb tub
Unfortunately I bought the small 1lb tub that when opened it was already half solid. The lid, outer seal and inner seal were all intact, but the only useable product was the inner core. If you have a bigger area to fill, you might want to consider the bigger tub. It’s rather expensive, but seems to do the job. The product is good for holes and cracks in cement. I also like that it is paintable and used a light coat of grey spray paint to cover the stark white color. ... show more

    • Very expensive for what you get
This stuff works well, BUT unless you use the entire carton in one go, it dries up considerably, even if you follow the instructions of leaving in the metal lining and silica gel packet. For $30+ after tax, it is waaaaay too expensive for that. There are a ton of alternatives (pretty much any rubberized caulk) that cost far less and work just as well. ... show more

    • Top 1/3 of sealed tub already dry
Disappointed to spend this much money for sealant to discover the top 1/3 of this sealed tub was already set and unusable. Was on top of the rv sealing around the skylights and opened this sealed tub to find I had to peel out the top 1/3 of the tub because it was already set and useless.

I had a inch and a half opening from tub and siding I had put a filler then covered the gap with flex paste the results are amazing I am very pleased that my tub and wall are waterproof

    • Dried up after first use
Worked like a charm to repair plastic garbage can lid—great way to keep things out of the landfill. However, two weeks later I opened the can for another use (it was absolutely sealed tightly) and it was a combination of peanut butter and solid. Another time I’ll go with the spray can.

The product worked great. But half was dried up when opening container. Not sure if the rest will have much shelf life. Used it on a indoor fountain.
