    • I Wish I Had Found This Sooner!

I’ve had aquariums for more than 20 years. I’ve been using those long handled aquarium scrub brushes for years. I really didn’t enjoy cleaning my aquarium glass. The scrub brush didn’t do that great of a job and it dripped water everywhere. Plus it was a pain to store. Then I was watching a fish keeping video on YouTube and saw the Flipper. It looked so much more effective and easier to use/store than what I had been using. I bought one for my 36 gallon bow front aquarium. It seemed a little pricey for a glass scrubber but after using it for awhile, it’s worth every penny! I initially had a difficult time figuring out what the written directions meant but that might just be me. I was able to find a YouTube video that explained what was meant by rotating the handheld part to get the scrubber part inside my aquarium to flip. After that it was super easy to use. I store mine inside my tank which is convenient. The razor side does an excellent job at removing those little specks of algae that stubbornly stick to the glass the scrubber part removed biofilm easily. The magnet is strong and I’ve never had the part inside my tank float away. My glass has never been so clean! I liked it so much that I put a smaller version for my 10 gallon tank on my Wishlist and got it for Christmas. I really wished I had learned about the Flipper sooner.     • Easily removes coralline and algae

I have a fairly deep sand bed in my 90 gallon reef tank. It has always suffered from algae growing under the sand where the light hits it making the tank look somewhat dirty. Due to the tank being built in, it’s very difficult to clean from the back. This however did a great job. It’s strong enough to push through the sand to clean the glass, and with the design, doesn’t get sand trapped where it could scratch the glass. It also made quick work of the coralline algae that had built up on the back of the tank. It took about 5 minutes to clean the remaining part of the back that I had spent hours on cleaning other times. It actually made cleaning the glass enjoyable. This works significantly better than any handheld scraper I’ve ever owned. I hand no issues with it scratching the glass. I did check to see that there were no sharp edges or burrs on the blade before I used it as the instructions state. Extremely happy I made the purchase. ... show more

    • I hesitated because of the price, but should of got this one first

Expensive but hands down the best one I’ve used! I was so hesitant on buying it just because of the price, ended up getting two others before this one and should of known better! Thing is awesome! One down side is the magnet got stuck to my power head magnet when I was cleaning and caused me to reach in the tank and try to detach them, causing the power head to fall to the bottom of tank .. other than that it’s best saltwater glass scraper ... show more

    • Let's just cut through the crud okay?

This does exactly that, cuts right through the crud. For my 13.5 fluval evo saltwater the nano version of this is amazing. Aside from a little splash because I was unprepared for because it was so eager to clean, this thing made a somewhat tedious task a breeze. I think my favorite part about this is I couldn't reach near the powerheads because of the angle of my scraper. This thing is near flat and cut right through the buildup I had going and so now I'm spotless on all of my glass. Swapping from the felt to the blade in tank was easy too if you get a feel for the magnet. ... show more

    • Worth the cost

I initially was hesitant to buying the FLIPPER cleaner. It’s a steep cost compared to other options. I finally decided to buy it and I am glad I did. I have a 120 gallon saltwater tank and would sometimes go over a month in between cleaning the inside of the glass. The hard algae would take over an hour to scrub and would take a lot of scrubbing. I did not have a scraper. All I had was a semi rough scrubbing brush with a long handle. Now it takes less than 15mins and very minimal effort. It makes it ten times easier. My only complaint is I wish they had an accessory to to extend the reach. Every part of my tank is clean except the back middle of the tank. ... show more

Using on a 30 gallon marine tank... very large product. Need to upright some of my corals after use. Using it very slowly and the wake knocks corals over... buy smaller version for 30 gal or smaller tank. Product works flawlessly otherwise.
