The unit it’s self, is pretty good, the look of it is what I like, the assembly was super easy, it only took me 20 minutes to assemble. However the installation part of it was pretty difficult, I wish that was a bit easier and the wall Anchors that are meant to be hanged with the unit didn’t look sturdy enough to be hanged so I bought some heavy duty Ones and that worked out better. I needed help putting it on the wall. And after a month of it being on the wall, I can safely say it’s pretty sturdy and won’t fall off. All and all I’m pleased with this purchase. ... show more

I was looking for something to hold my X-Box, games and videos as well as a soundbar. While I was tempted to build my own I could not beat the price. I had read the negative reviews, however decided to give it a go, anticipating some extra effort would be needed to mount properly and safely. Instructions are intuitive and illustrate which part goes where and in what sequence via drawings. Folks that expect text like "Insert part A into Cog B" will be disappointed. -- This is made of particle board, not unexpected since particle board is commonly used for inexpensive furniture/shelving, etc. -- The sections are held together via a Cam Lock system. I recommend NOT using any power tools for assembly to avoid over-torque and damage to the particle board. -- All the sections line up fine however I suggest not fully tightening the cams until the entire unit is assembled so you can make minor tweaks to edge alignment. As far as mounting is concerned: You are fortunate indeed if the mounting holes line up with studs in the position that you want this on the wall. I wound up positioning the unit where I wanted it, measuring and drilling my own holes for screwing direct to the studs. They provide heavy duty anchors and screws for mounting to drywall however using a 15/32 bit per the instructions will cause the anchor to spin right away rendering it ineffective, I would recommend 7/16 or smaller. I used the provided screw and anchor system to hold the finished unit in place while I leveled and screwed direct to the studs, then pushed them into the wall when finished ( spinning anchor prevented unscrewing). Putting it all together took about 2 hours including the extra effort to find studs, etc.. ... show more

It is smaller than I thought it would be and narrower. The PS4 hangs out about 3.5 inches. It is cute and it came with everything you need to put it together. The instructions were OK. Good pictures, no written instructions. The wall anchors are not very good. It is fine for our needs but I would like it better if it was a little bigger. ... show more

If you have ever put anything together from Ikea then this wont be a problem. Directions are fine if you are a visual person but not much in the way of a written steps. Helps to have 2 ppl when mounting. I would like to have seen 4 mounting hole or but so far i havent had any issues with the system. I also do not have wood studs in this part of my home and used the heavy duty toggle anchors which i purchased on Amazon as well...after a month its holding up well and looks good. ... show more

This shelf looks great. Perfect size under my 50" TV. Easy to assemble once we got going. About 20 mins to build. Easy to install on the wall. Be sure you fave a stud finder to locate the best place to hang it so it is sturdy. Great product for the price.

LOVE IT! Assembly and installation was simple. This product looks amazing in our small living room, it frees up floor space but has plenty of storage inside While also looking modern. It has a built-in cord hole that is great for our TV and router. We have a 47" TV above It and it looks great.

Shipped quick with no damage. Looks better than I thought it would at this price point! The shelves in the middle are small so if you want to put something tall like a receiver you wouldn’t be able to put the upper shelf in. You could put things on top but I didn’t want anything that has cords up there. It has openings in the back center all the way through it for cords to go through! I cut a single gage hole in the back of it for low voltage and a two gang hole for two power outlets so no cords of any kind were visible. I put this in my bedroom which makes it a good buy. I wouldn’t get this for my living room just because of the small shelves. No regrets so far. ... show more

Bought this shelf for our media room to go under the tv and hold the Xbox and anything else we had on the floor. I sat on this product and had it in my cart for several months before taking the risk and buying it. I had seen mixed reviews but this shelf was the size I liked and had a reasonable price tag compared to others you can find in stores. Overall I am happy with the purchase and glad I took the risk because it fits perfectly and holds everything we needed it too. It seems easy to assemble (my boyfriend put it together) and came with all the parts. I would say the shelf is sturdy, we drilled it into the studs, but we don’t have much on it so I don’t know how much this can hold if you planned to load it with heavy items. The shelf is made of particle board, not solid wood. Hopefully this review helps someone take the risk and give this shelf a shot like I did ... show more
