As I write this review, this plane is stuck 50' off the ground in a tree. It was a lot of fun to fly and I was more than a little disappointed that it blew into a tree just as I was beginning to understand how to fly it! Here are a few specifics: - The steering is a little tricky at first. There aren't any movable flaps on the plane, so all of the steering comes from directing more/less power to one engine or the other, causing the plane to turn. Simple enough, right? The confusion comes from the fact that the controller doesn't provide as much regulation of the power when the throttle is wide open. The result of this is that you really need to open up the throttle and allow the plane to climb while flying in a straight line, then throttle back when a sharp turn is needed (which also causes the plane to lose altitude). A combination of the wide/slow turns when the throttle is at max and a bit of a wind gust are what landed my plane in a tree. - The plane is more durable than I expected it to be given that it is made of expanded polypropylene foam. I wouldn't recommend running over it with a bicycle like the guy in the product video does, but I crashed it into the ground at full speed several times and it didn't take any damage at all. You might get a different result if crashing it into concrete or the side of a building, but nosedives into grass/dirt at high speeds don't seem to be a problem. - The setup/assembly process is very simple and only took me a few minutes. - Taking off from grass is pretty much impossible unless the grass is very short. It's easiest to hold the plane in your hand, set the throttle to max, and toss it up/forward much like a paper airplane. Overall, this plane is quite fun to fly and I hope that mine gets blown out of the tree eventually so that I can enjoy flying it again! ... show more

    • PLANE BROKE FIRST FLIGHT
Bought this plane for myself as a starter plane looking to get into flying RC planes, but this purchase was a big mistake. First of all the plane is made of styrofoam so when you fly this plane it is cheaply made that it will just get taken into the wind everytime you fly it. Second, the front nose of the plane snapped within the first flight of landing on grass. Also was having issue with the remote it kept disconnecting. ... show more
