    • Not as rugged as I thought it would be

I keep this in my pocket so it's handy when I'm in the garden. Been using it for 2 months so far this season. Within a week of use, it developed a significant burr on the blades (not sure how, I only use it for soft vegetable limbs and stems). The burr prevented the blades from closing down, and thus non-working. I used a file to remove the burr, and that fixed that problem. So, the steel used for the blades is actually pretty soft, and using it on tougher, woody stems might not be the best idea. Otherwise, it's a good pair of shears: fits in my big boy pockets, lets me get in close to get shorter stems, and fits well in my hand. ... show more
