Great basic starter kid for pool maintenance for the price ! Only complaint I have is that the pole kept falling inside the other which made it hard to vacuum the pool but After fixing it my own way I was able to use it no problem. The vacuum worked pretty well for an above ground pool. You do need to put the hose on full blast for it to pick up the dirt. vacuum did it’s job, even picked up a few insects. a little flimsy, the brush was missing the little button things to make it stay in place and the vacuum part didn't really do much, but the skimmer was decent and it did its job well enough on a smaller pool

It’s been a great kit for our little 10’, 30” backyard intex style pool and would recommend. The vacuum, I didn’t have high hopes for, but works nicely. The thread on it made it difficult to connect our hoses to it, but my husband somehow fixed that. The price was right and it’s held up nicely so far over the last couple of months. ... show more

    • I was expecting the pole to be longer
The kit is very complete for an above ground pool, however I was expecting the pole to be longer, it does what it describes even for the vacune, if works pretty good. We just needed a longer pole, but would recommend.

    • Basic Starter Package
The telescoping pole is short and only goes to 4 feet max. I didn't see if that was mentioned in the listing or not but we needed something to get us started. This kit would be fine for the little kiddie pools, but not essential for bigger above ground pools. The net on my skimmer ripped after a few weeks and the vacuum head is not that great. Remember too that these vacuums that use the hose and mesh bags are only good for picking up debris and heavier dirt but not the fine sediments that would require a filtration system. Overall it's a decent starting kit, but not so much for the value in the long run or for bigger pools ... show more
