By mimicking the natural feline appeasing messages (pheromones), FELIWAY MultiCat sends “harmony messages” to help your cats get along more effectively, and avoid tension, conflict and fighting in the home. Most cat owners see a 70% reduction in conflict in 3 weeks. The FELIWAY MultiCat Refill includes one refill vial (diffuser head not included). You should plug your diffuser in the room(s) where your cat spends the most time, and make sure it isn't covered by curtains, or behind furntiure. Each diffuser covers up to 700 sq. feet, and each refill can last up to 30 days. For maximum effectiveness, you should replace refills every 4 weeks, and your diffuser every 6 months. Make sure to follow the instructions when plugging in your diffuser, and plug the diffuser in upright.

For me, I used Feliway multiple times (over a year) for my two cats and have seen pretty immediate results. Within a few hours of plugging in the wall plug in, my cats seemed immensely more chill and lovey. My male cat is a bit more of the trouble maker of the two I own, and his behavior improved within the time I used the product. He didn't want to fight the other cat so much, and get the "zoomies" so much. I bought this product to help relieve stress and tension between my two cats. I can definitely say that aspect worked with this item. As a disclaimer, I will say that the insert can leave a weird yellowish residue on the wall insert itself, and wall potentially. However this can be removed easily with water or household cleaners if necessary. I did not experience sickness or odor as some other reviews mentioned, but that is to not say that those do not happen. I will say to remember to refill or unplug the refill insert after a month has hit, as the wick part that plugs into the wall, gets burnt in color. I personally did not experience any fire or electrical problems with it, but to be safe, consider that moving forward. I was quite skeptical about using the FELIWAY MultiCat Calming Pheromone and whether or not it would actually last for 30 Days. Much to my surprise, it Actually Works!!! And it does last for 30 days! I have two senior cats and a one year old high energy male. Needless to say, there’s been an increase in “bad” behavior in my household for the past few months. After only a few short days of using the Feliway diffuser I began to notice a difference in the behavior of all three. My rowdy little boy was calmer and the older two seemed more relaxed than they’ve been in a while. After the first 30 days I’ve seen a big difference in the behavior of all three! There’s peace in my house once again!! I’m happy to say that I will continue to use the Feliway MultiCat Calming Pheromone as long as it continues to keep the peace in my household! ... show more

This was recommended for my senior cat at the Vet office due to unfriendly attitude. LOL. I have, however, found it is great for the over rambunctious kittens as well. I have an anxious cat that likes to attack his brother when he gets scared. The incidences have become less since adding this product but it does still happen so I’m not sure that it’s worth the money or not

I have 15 year old, brother, and sister cats who have historically gotten into vicious fights periodically. I introduced a new rescue cat because they were all rescues about three years ago and there were occasional aggressive interactions. This has been a great product for us and I’m glad our vet told us about it! We brought home a new cat this summer and it has been an adjustment for our other cat. They did not think they liked each other and would occasionally fight. This product helps. I always buy the multicat. It seems to work better. I don’t notice any smell at all, which is wonderful because scents set off my allergies. These are easy to use… just unplug, unscrew the old bottle and screw in the new one… and the benefits are definitely worth the cost.
