  • Warning: Horrible INJURY to our DOG!! Cheap Product IMPALED our dogs foot!
Size: 48.0"L x 29.3"W x 31.7"H
Unfortunately our 7 month year old 80 lb Rottweiler somehow either chewed through or pushed out one of the wires at the bottom of the crate and ended up impaling himself through his entire foot. My wife and I woke to the most horrific screams we have ever heard. He was desperately trying to pull his foot free which you can imagine was causing him excruciating pain. When I reached into the cage to free him he attacked me so bad and bit my hand leaving lacerations all the way to the bone. My hand still hurts to this day with nerve damage. This went on for a horrifying 4 minutes of screams from our poor buddy. My hand was so badly injured and bleeding everywhere, but I had no choice but to reach back in there and free him getting bit multiple times as a tried for nearly 4 minutes to free him. The saddest part to me was not him biting me, it was that he thought I was hurting him because to free his foot from the wire going through it, it was hurting him-badly! He was in a state of shock and HE has never bit anyone or anything before. He is the most friendly gentle dog we have ever owned. He treats our 9lb min pin in the most gentle kind way. He is not an aggressive dog!! He is giant puppy! I contribute his bite as a mere survival mechanism from the horrible pain caused to him by the crap design of this crate! The scene from both me and my dog bleeding was like a horror scene. Blood all over our floor the crate and the wall. This company advertises: "Sturdy and Chew-Resistant: Made with durable and 0.4” thick steel tubes, this piece of dog furniture is sturdier and more chew-resistant than wire Wire is Crap! design is crap! why make the squares in the wire so big? We think our Rottweiler got his foot stuck when he pushed it through the big square openings in the wire and then when desperately trying to free it being stuck, broke the wire off the bottom, and then impaled his foot while most likely in a panicked state. We would have returned the crate for our money back and are considering legal action considering the injuries, time lost at work, and the cost to fix the crate... But we did not have the option to wait another 5-7 days for an oversized crate to be delivered and with my hand being injured the best I could do was purchase 200$ of small mesh wire and screen mesh protectors and hire a handyman to cover the entire crate with it so that he wouldn't get his foot stuck again. Also there is no cage for the floor. The plastic pan just sits on the ground. all a dog needs to do is knock the cage over and he is out. So we also had wood floor attached to the cage as well. We have had to spend hundreds of dollars to completely modify this very poor design of a crate ust to make it safe. Believe me, I wanted nothing more but to throw that thing in the trash! but we live in a remote area and with my dogs foot being hurt and my hand being injured we had no option but to make do with what we had in order to keep him in his crate while his foot healed. We did not have the time to get another crate being in the screwed up position we were in. Have I said enough to convince you not to waste your money on this dangerous piece of Sh*! ! I will post. a picture of the extensive work we had to do to modify this crate to be safe and also the wire that broke. I am not posting my dogs injury or my hands injury because I worry amazon would not allow this review due to the graphic nature of the blood and injuries. and I think it is important that people be see this review! ... show more

  • Dog crate
Size: 48.0"L x 29.3"W x 31.7"H
Yes it's easy to put together. Not really portable. We had to take it apart to get it in the truck. Our old one was foldable. We have a husky and he is an escape artist. We had to lock the old crate. He could not escape this one. It's nice quality heavy duty metal.

  • Great Crate for the Value
Size: 42.1"L x 27.6"W x 29.5"H
The media could not be loaded. Good crate for dogs properly crate trained. Only downfall is I wish it had a bottom so they can stack. This crate is not for the dog who has any sort of separation anxiety or is destructive. Wire crates are not designed for dogs who destroy crates or sever separation anxiety. I use the two crates I bought for my personal puppy and boarding dogs who are properly crate trained. ... show more

  • Made strong
Size: 48.0"L x 29.3"W x 31.7"H
Need is a strong crate for large breed dogs. This is well-made easy to assemble. One thing I do want to mention when you’re putting the side pieces on to the bottom base you have to takeoff the little caps so that you could put the screws through the hole. I didn’t notice them at first other than that definitely recommend this Crate ... show more

We love that it’s thick and made from metal. Easy assembly and sturdy.

  • Sturdy and nicer than your typical box store crate
Size: 42.1"L x 27.6"W x 29.5"H
We bought this because our German Shepherd kept escaping and pretty much destroyed a crate we picked up from Tractor Supply. So far she hasn’t escaped, nor do I think she’s really tried. It definitely looks much more sturdy and nicer than the previous crate as well.
