I bought the large house with door to use for my 3 ducks. It is perfect for that purpose. All necessary parts are included and it went together nicely. I was initially upset when the house was delivered because the door wasn't included but it arrived in a separate package the next morning. Both packages actually arrived several days ahead of the listed arrival date. The house is surprisingly sturdy considering it is all plastic. The various parts snap together and are then reinforced with screws. A screwdriver is included. It is the perfect size for my 3 large ducks. They have plenty of room to spread out and nest if they want although they like to snuggle together in one corner. I like the added security of the wire door to keep predators out at night. Received the dog house and then the gate the next day. Put it together - relatively easy with instructions but is a 2 person job to hold and screw. Makes a nice plastic house. We use ours for our duck housing. Lock them up at night. Because it is plastic it washes easily daily. Ducks have plenty of room and do not have a problem walking right in at night. ... show more

I bought this to temporarily house this beast. He loved it and fit inside it comfortably. I left the door open but it was nice to have in case he needed to be kept inside. It seemed a little flimsy at first but actually is not. It was easy to assemble. Prices fit together easily.

The house itself looks great! They need to do a better job of the gate. The holes to hold the gate are to big so the gate can slip off at anytime with just enough pressure, even though you put it in the holds and shake to make sure it’s sturdy. This is a good house for ducks b/c there’s just a gentle slope to get inside, ducks hate ramps. I got the biggest one for my six juvenile ducks and they all have plenty of room in there. I’ve bought wooden chicken coops and dog houses for the ducks in the past, but this is much better. Pro tips: if it’s going outside, assemble it outside! The XL size won’t fit through the doorway assembled. If you are using it for ducks or chickens zip tie some cardboard or plastic to the door to create a solid door. This dog house is made out of blown plastic mold that is very thin and very flimsy. There just isn’t any value in purchasing a dog House of this type. I’m going back to igloo dog houses, they’re way more sturdier, and the quality is way better!
