The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this trash can with an electric sensor lid and wanted to share my thoughts on its performance and design. First off, the can itself is surprisingly lightweight yet remains stable, even when placed on uneven surfaces or when it's nearly full. This balance between being lightweight and stable is a significant plus, as it's easy to move when necessary without compromising on its functionality. However, I've noticed some inconsistencies with the sensor's responsiveness. While the idea of a hands-free lid is appealing, especially when your hands are full or dirty, the sensor doesn't always detect motion accurately on the first try. Sometimes, it requires several attempts, waving your hand back and forth, which can be somewhat frustrating. This issue introduces a minor discomfort in what is otherwise a seamless experience. The trash can also features manual open/close buttons, which, in theory, are a nice backup for when the sensor is uncooperative. In practice, though, I find myself reluctant or unable to use these buttons when my hands are occupied with trash. It's a bit inconvenient, and I wish the sensor's reliability could make these buttons an unnecessary feature rather than a necessary backup. On a positive note, the timing for the lid's opening and closing is spot on. It opens quickly enough not to be a nuisance and closes after a reasonable delay, preventing any unwanted smells from escaping and ensuring that pets or small children can't get into the trash. Overall, aside from the sensor issue, I haven't encountered any other problems with this trash can. It's a solid choice for those looking for a hands-free solution to waste disposal, provided you're patient with the occasional sensor hiccup. Would I recommend it?
