I purchased this installer tool to help replace several sinks in my home. The tool is certainly better to use than vice-grips, pliers or an adjustable wrench but needed modification to work for me. In trying to secure the mounting nuts, the metal insert was to tight to fit over the supply/mounting tube threads so I had to file the insert a little wider to make it work. The tool works good but is also somewhat flexible and twists a bit as you tighten fastening nuts. ... show more

I’m sorry to have a negative review, but the appearance of this seemed like it was going to be very positive. However, the quality and performance and durability did not seem it was going to last at least one removal. I thought it was gonna be value from my money, but I had this plastic thing with no instructions how to use it and I couldn’t make heads or tails with it unfortunately because of the lack of instructions to put these parts together and me being in experience with this tool, I had to return it Also taking out a drain is a lot harder unit and I don’t think this plastic thing will survive it.
